Around 25kms from Indore, this place is a must visit in the months of Nov-Feb. It's a perfect picnic spot. You could bring your own food, games and easily spend 3-4 hrs here with your friends or family. There are some local shops as well that serve tea and maggie at very minimal prices. Also, various photography spots managed by the locals are also there, for which they charge just Rs 10 per person if we wish to click our pictures. Apart from this, a boat ride at Rs100 per person for 15 minutes is also available which takes you in the middle of the Lotus Lake so you could get a closer look at them. The overall atmosphere and environment is very peaceful and scenic. I would personally recommend a weekday to visit this place. Happy exploring!
Narrow roads, bizarre traffic , but a great place to visit. We didn't see the bloom because of the mass plucking of lotuses for the festival of Diwali . And also because we were late in reaching there. Best time to go is around 0600 to 0800 hrs. As the flowers are in bloom at this time.
This place is located approximately 28-30 km from Aurobindo campus. The road leading to it is in excellent condition, and it offers a stunning setting to enjoy a picturesque sunset. There are also nearby stalls where you can enjoy tea and snacks. Plus, if you're up for it, there's the option of boating on the lake, making it a well-rounded destination for nature enthusiasts.
