Gulab Bagh - Garden in Udaipur - Udaipur, India

This place is very beautiful worth visiting. It is surrounded by forest containing lush green belt. It is a world famous vedic cultural centre made by Aryasmaj. Lot of tourist also visit here. Entry ticket is Rs.30/- for general , 20/-for children n students, 150/- for foreign nationals.

Take a boat ride. Private boat doesn't worth it. We've tried in the noon time and at sunset. Better take it at sunset. Take a cable car before that for an amazing view. There is nothing much on the hill though.

I keep visiting this place for morning walks. Ample of greenery , freshness , pure air , fruiting trees this place is perfect for morning walk lovers. Train ride is available for kids. Picnic can also be organised here as it has multiple gardens . Swings for kids are also there. Amazing place for family get togethers.

If you are in Udaipur then definitely visit Gulab Bagh. Many types of trees are planted in this garden. A toy train runs here which takes you on a tour of the entire garden. There is also a Saraswati Public Library in this garden and there is also a bird park to see which has different species of birds and Navlakha Palace and some temples and a dargah. There is something different about this garden, one gets peace. And those who live near the garden in Udaipur can go for walking, running, exercise etc. in the morning and evening.

Most beautiful park in Udaipur. A must visit, especially in morning or evening. It feels really calming . Ohh, there is also a train for kids

Sept 2021 It is one of the largest gardens of Udaipur. Lush greenery keeps the temperatures down. Although a little touch of maintenance for children's play area is needed. Full of greenery and lots of birds and squirrels, But not well maintained. Could spend some peaceful time. There is a play area for kids, Should be improved to make it an attractive place. Did not see any Rose plants here.

Very good place for full day trip. Children will the toy train, zoo and the kamal talai. A big garden but not well maintained variety of plants are there. No entry fee. But toy train costs 60 for adult and 30 for child upto 12 years.

I visited here for the toy train ride. It was 15 minute ride but enjoyable. There is ticket for which you need to pay 50 rupees and then wait for passengers to arrive and and fill the train capacity. It goes round a circle showing you a kind of mini zoo... however not much to see than the flora and fauna. Still a good ride with kids.
