It is a historic place.. it is believed that Sardar Patel met Gandhiji here for the 1st time. It has been running since ages.. this place is near the Ahmedabad City Civil and sessions Court, so most of the time you will find lawyers in the club. It is a good place to conduct social functions for a limited number of people.

First club, established in 1868.late Mr ranchhod dad retiawala was the founder member of the club and then situated on back side of palce of sahjahan ,which was converted in to the court house. and on the bank of river sabarmati.sardar vallabh Bhai Patel once a president of the club as he was doing legal practice at the court,near club.most memorable place,as Mahatma Gandhi bapu met sardar at the club when gandhi bapu came to India.
