The property is good and located quite a distance away from the Matheran station, so be ready for a long walk. Also if you are coming from Dasturi Naka then it will be almost 4 km. The area in and around the hotel is quite and serene. Arrangement of rooms, pool and dining area are well organized. The doors have a traditional latch and lock n key. ACs work well so you won't need to worry about afternoon heat during any season. Toilets, bathrooms are well maintained and clean. All bathrooms have a big water heater so hot water is available. Don't forget to switch on the geyser some time before use as it takes time to heat up. There is lot of open area for kids to play and run around and also a dedicated play area where there are board games and slide and swings are setup. There is a table tennis table as well. At night usually some entertainment shows are held beside the pool like magic show or puppet show. Overall the place is good but highly overpriced for the facilities and even the food.

Food is very delicious. And enjoying a lot. Location is very superb with nature. They have to improve room service. Rest all things are good.

Hospitality at the time of meals is only good. Nothing else we enjoyed over here in this property. We had a very bad experience as such a type :- no music system, no response to our room service calls, etc. No checking that their customers are really going well or are they enjoying themselves, no they didn't want to know about all this. They just know how to give the check in and check out. I realised that there is just a show off to attract the rich people no enjoyment services are provided by them to their customers. So yes definitely it was not value for money to us.

I have been visiting this place since 30 years regularly. They have maintained their charm and standards so well with green and natural surroundings. This reflects the 'real feel' of Matheran. Food was delicious and the experience was unforgettable!

Very bad experience Air conditioner working with very much noice Breakfast not up to mark Wifi not available in rooms since mobile network not available hence there is no connectivity. Even after reporting no action taken Food not good for kids and children

It's a good place specially if you are looking for accommodation and food at one place, also it is located in centre of matheran so really convenient. Rooms are old style not modern but it has all facilities like Bed, Tv , AC and washroom with Geyser. I got it in 6500 during long weekend, in other days the rates are low.
