Went there to try their very famous mutton kati kebab with laccha paratha. Turned out really well. My friend had a gravy tikia and a tikia jhuri fry with onion and chillies. The dry one was better than the gravy one. The only problem with this place is its pretty small and its very tough to eat there if the weather is hot n humid. The fans are way too old and you cant feel any air around you. So if you love good food and you think you can overlook these little issues for 20-25 minutes, then just go for it. That paratha and kati kebab is simply worth the pain once.
Came here after a really popular reel on Instagram and this place DOES NOT disappoint. It's so authentic, so beautiful. The food is still really up to the mark. We had ordered Lachcha parathas with Mutton tikiya and a side salad. Trust me and my taste buds and go have the food. Extremely less cost of every food item and the food is so delicious that I cannot stop mentioning it again and again. The ambience is very North Kolkata and homely. There are clean tables and the seating arrangement is not huge but it doesn't stay very crowded. Overall, yummy! The mutton tikiya is for Rs. 80. Only!!

Mutton Tikia is their signature dish, which tastes truly good but it was a bit oily.... You can try this Tikia with Rumali Roti, Lachcha Porota. Biriyani is not so good at all.... Their rolls and mughlai are also well known and taste delicious....
Visited on July 2023, had their mutton tikiya with roomali roti. Tikiya costed Rs. 80/- and roomalis Rs. 7/p. Tikiya was delicious, saturated (as it is). And reasonable amount. Talking of the atmosphere, only two tables inside the shop. A little steep. But well managed. Great to try out of you're in College Street area. Sadly they don't have online payment options. It's total dealt in cash.

First of all to much oily food . The mutton tikia is to much oily and unhealthy ans the paratha is hard to eat. The behavior is not kind. Those people are come for videos and promotion the owner is just show off with them but common people like us who came here just enjoy the food then the owner hospitality was gone.
If you are a mughlai food lover, it's a must try restaurant in Kolkata. A very old small restaurant, very little space for sitting, service is not that much good. BUT, YOU WILL DEFINITELY LOVE THEIR FOOD. Must try their Mutton Tikiya, one of the best mutton tikiya in Kolkata, far better than Arsalan.
Worst mutton tikkia, they charges 180 for only bones of mutton in tikka, the actual mutton is haldly 20/30g. Rumali roti was good
