Nice big lake, but doesn't have any suitable place to sit or any activities to do (at least when we visited)

This is one day trip from Bangalore. It is 90km far from city. There is a nice lake with a shiva temple. Bhairasagar lake and it surrounded by a fort. Gudibande Fort. You can trek that place. Apart from that you can enjoy scenic beauty with lots of greenery and wide range of hills. Lots of vegs and fruits i.e Grapes, tomato, cauliflower, corn flower etc are cultivating through out the road.

good place to explore with friends near the vicinity of Bangalore. Must plan to visit there with milk, chaipatti, sugar, disposable cups, a pan and all that which can help you make at least chai and Maggie there. Get some bath and free pedicure in the lake. Can enjoy a good half/full day if u plan properly.
