Ambience is good, open restaurant filled with greenery but too many mosquitoes and flies during monsoon. Tables are placed too near to each other. Had to request the staff several times to put a mosquito repellent/coil, nobody paid heed and cared about the customers' problem. Ordered king fish special thali and crab masala, during less crowd time, however it took 40mints to arrive. Taste and price was fine.
This place isn't much lavish but the food is super tasty..and flavourful.
Have passed this place soo many times but this time though of giving it a try and we tried their prawns and king fish thali and it was superb and worth the money ..Would rate it 5/5 and is a must try ...
It's good to visit in afternoon...evening too many mosquitoes so you won't be able to eat peacefully

The Veg Food ..we tried was also good enough to fulfill our needs..
This was our first visit. We arrived here at 2:00 pm today. Our food arrived very late (45 minutes) and that too in parts. We had ordered 1 Mackerel (Bangde) fish thali (Rs. 150), 1 King fish (Viswon/Surmai) thali (Rs. 220), 1 plate each of Prawns (Sungta) rawa fry (Rs. 300) and Sole (Lepo) fish rawa fry (Rs. 180), and 2 glasses of piping hot water. The food we ordered was good to taste and, the quantity and quality was good. The fish was fresh. But the service provided was very bad. The sole fish rawa fry came so late when we were almost done with our lunch and had to ask them to parcel it. The owner came to our table and started justifying the delay. I noticed that the staff couldn't keep up with the number of guests it being a sunday. People arriving later were served food first. I don't know if this was a one off incidence. If you are lucky you may have a good experience.
EDIT: Increasing rating to 3 stars. Have visited this place since then on weekdays. Service is better as lesser crowds.
I wanted to get true and authentic Goan cuisine food in Old Goa. Greenyard Resturant stood at par my expectations!
I enjoyed every bit of my meal. Mouth watering fish dry and curry leaves behind my all time fish food experience when I had Chonak, Kingfish, Promphet, Oyster, Prawns dishes here. I took my family along with me and they enjoyed it very much. Whole heartedly I could say, it deserves ratings as it is simply awesome sea food restaurant you'll get in Old Goa.
Strongly recommend for family, friends, for Party or any other functions.
Price wise it was very good and for 6 people we spent Rs2.8K
Service was really good, they made fresh fish dishes including veg dishes also. You should try it out.
Great food , we had special thali nd goan thali..both fud was very tasty..we tried crab xacuty..that was large quantity taste also awsm..must try
Kingfish thali - mediocre at best
Bangda fry - the masala was a tad bit bitter
Alcohol - felt the drinks were diluted, but we may be wrong.
Squid fry - it was good, a little pricey but the Mayo was literally the cheapest jar you could find in a store.
Chicken Goan "something" - it was great.
Lovely ambience
Quality & fresh food
Hotel staff have a pleasing behavior
Owner is a very good person
If at all in & around Old goa, Ribandar for a good & tasty food, would recommend this place to every viewer.
