Green's Guest House - Guest house in Edayanchavadi - Villupuram, India

Zero star to Green Guest House in Auroville. Very dirty, rude behaviour of staff, no facilities, no toiletries, dirty swimming pool, not even Water bottles in d room, frequent disconnection of power, while booking d property I booked Breakfast included in the price and got it confirmed by calling d property owner but while check-in they said BF not included. Agoda you guy's should verify property properly and then include in your list. One of worst property I have been too.

Some places will never be forgotten, this belongs in that list. Amazing and courteous staff, comfortable rooms and Picturesque location with great accessibility to Auroville and the Beach. I mean Auroville is walkable. It's not a complete nature stay so those terrified of the creepy crawlies, can choose this place. It gives you the aesthetic of nature stay while still keeping you in the comfort of a cottage.

One of the worst cheating and scamming place... I never wrote review bad for any... but this place deserves all... the Google reviews that says good or definitely paid... Mr.Ramesh the owner of the property should be sued for the scam. They canceled my check in on 9th for minting extra money on long weekend... Never informed until I reached their place thinking that my stay is confirmed. The hotel staff knew they cheated and had audacity to talk that they were right. They will assure till last moment and give for higher prices. We saw two more people were also been cheated right in front of us. Still the hotel staff behaves so rude and cheap n he said no to all of us. Never visit this scammer place.. . Definitely the money that they earn by cheating and also making kids and the family stand without option those all wouldn't give them good. Karma will serve these scammers and definitely they will be on road...

Rooms are not really good and not really bad either. It could've been a little cleaner. But the location is the best as it's close to the Matrimandir and not very far by scooter to the restaurants like Tanto's, Marc's Cafe etc.

Only location is good otherwise ac is not working in all rooms every body complaint for ac and room size was so small including bathroom 10 x 10 or 11

Excellent for everything very happy to stay this hotel because of everyone's behaviour like Jon and the owner of the hotel.... Every body was very nice and polite. I hope visit again

One of the good cottages available for a reasonable price. Located very near Matir Mandir Auroville, within a walkable distance of 200mts. Retro-themed cottages are awesome. People are friendly, it will be better for kitchen staff if they learn the local language. Cottages are filled with retro-themed wall tiles and furniture which gives a different feel of stay and calmness. Bedspreads are pure cotton and suitably best for our climate. Every room is equipped with a decent air-conditioner and mosquito repellent machine. Few rooms are bathtub fitted, ask them in reception. The ambiance is surrounded by greens and woods, which gives a lite wild touch and it's so pleasant. The pool is good in size and the kids' pool is the best and family-friendly. When guests are overloaded ask for pool cleanup before you dive in, and it will be cleaned immediately. Car parking is difficult and roadside parking only available. Two-wheelers can be parked inside. The Bullock cart standing outside is the landmark and one of the rarest sightings and it's the best photo booth families. The restaurant has decent food and complimentary breakfast is good. Overall this place is good for family stays and other guests kindly avoid drinking liquor in front of family.
