GREEN PLAZA TOURIST HOME - Hotel in Thrissur - Thrissur, India

I actually came to this hotel to stay with my family and the truth is... We had a very unpleasant experience here. Before coming here we called the hotel people and informed them that I would come there to stay with my family for a couple of days. We asked them to give us double bed 2 bedrooms. When we came there the receptionist told us that our rooms were allotted on 2 different floors even after informing them that I would come there with my family. The 2nd thing...We came there to stay in the rainy season (last month) & when we asked them to provide us bed sheets they rudely told us that they can't provide us any bed sheets as they only provide bed sheets to those who have taken AC ROOMS in their hotel and we had to sleep there at nights without any bedsheets which made us feel very uncomfortable. The 3rd thing... It was extremely difficult for us to charge our mobile phones in one of the rooms that we took. When we connected our charger to the socket all the lights in the room started blinking very badly. fortunately we escaped just because we had our power bank with us, also we didn't get mobile signal properly all the time in one of the rooms. The 4th thing is... In that hotel everywhere they have written that smoking is not allowed in any of the premises of the hotel but always everywhere in the hotel we could smell the bad smoke & my child has asthma and it made it difficult for him to breathe freely. From this you can understand how badly and imperfectly we were treated there by them when we were their guests.

Rooms are good neat and clean at heart of the city 1 km from Thrissur railway station. Only issue the room doesn't have elevator. we have to climb steps to reach 2nd and 3rd floor. There is no restaurant or room service available. Not even providing water as complimentary for amount we are paying. Staffs are not professionals. Nevertheless they are polite. But the services are not worth for money we are paying.

very bad experience. smelling toilet. they didn't arrange an uber taxi. rate is not fixed. arrogant staff.dont take room in this hotel.

Over priced old room setup....2060 charged for this old room ,towel bedsheet which purchased before independence ,old sound making a/c, poor bathroom ,

I don't know who would put two single beds together to call that a bed for two when a couple comes in - they definitely did that. I still don't understand why ?

We booked a room for my college get together.. rooms were just okay, they could fix the bathroom pipes and place a soap for the price you pay .

Giving four star for Abai for polite response and his good attitude. First day taxi was good by the hotel Second day is like name sake taxi team Hotel was decent for the price... Smoking smell in the corridor can be ventilated Good for budget stay
