Good place to have lunch, especially fish items. Their meals are good which cost only around 90 - 100 Rs. Also their special fish items- Kari meen roast(Rs 400) and prawns fry(350) was lit.

Normal plate is so good... You can have different varieties of currys in one plate at low cost...including Payasam...other dishes like fish and meat was awesome... Eat until your stomach gets full, no extra cost for normal plate.....but don't waste your food

This is more a hole in the wall kind of restaurant on Monroe island. The food though is very tasty. We had malabar parotta and vegetable kuruma which was very tasty. The non veg food looked very good and seemed tasty although we didn't taste it, we have been told that they are the best on Monroe island.

Can't really review this place for food as I didn't get to eat anything here.. Let me explain. We arrived in between breakfast and lunch.. Just before 12. Lunch was not ready.. And breakfast was virtually finished. They only had porotta and sambar.. Not the most appealing combo.. So we left. The restaurant itself is basic. Staff seem very busy.. They had a small AC room, probably seat 2medium families. Apart from that cannot really comment any more.

My personal experience at Leaf Hotel & Restaurant was a mixed bag. When we arrived around 8pm, we ordered porotta, beef curry, and masala dosa. The porotta and beef curry were decent, but unfortunately, the masala dosa had a bitter taste which was quite disappointing. It's possible that it was just an off day for that particular dish. Overall, it's a case of something being better than nothing, but I would recommend trying other options if you're looking for a consistently good masala dosa.

A medium size restaurant on the way to Mundro island. Ambience is good and the restaurant is kept neat and tidy. Parking space is limited. The dishes are good and moderately priced. Staff member who served us was polite and courteous. Recommended dishes : Fried rice, butter chicken, Kadai chicken, beef roast and pearl spot masala. Wishing them all the best !!!

We stopped by Green Leaf on the way to Munroe Island from Varkala for breakfast. The staff is very friendly and well mannered. We had vegetarian breakfast - Appam, Kadala curry, veg stew and ulli curry. Everything was delicious. Price was reasonable and the service was excellent. We wanted to stop by for lunch again, but sadly we were too early for lunch and was not hungry. However, we had tea. The staff was kind enough to give us tea and buttermilk (is not even there in their menu). They were busy setting up for lunch but still made sure to give us what we asked for. Hospitable staff and a neat restaurant. Will definitely visit again.
