Green Leaf Homestay - Home Stay in Kumily - Idukki, India

Room is good. Parking is not available in the premises. We have to park our vehicles 100 metres away in a open area. Nobody is responsible for our vehicles. Approach is around one kilometre from Kumuli bus stand. 300 metres narrow road. 100 metres straight steep It's difficult for some people to drive and reach.

Very nice rooms. Location is a bit had to get to but wide enough for cars to go. Parking available. Very friendly care taker. Wifi available. Bathroom were very clean and neat.

Experience was awesome and made memorable by home stay person. They arranged dinner, camp fire. Manager was friendly. Loved the stay. Glass room feels hot at noon and till evening atleast glass room shall be airconditioned. Heat water available and everything is clean and neat.

The stay was good. The room is good but small one. It is a home of an NRI family. The owner stays in Saudi with his family. They dont maintain duplicate back up for room keys, in case if you loose the key then you will have a tough time. They have cctv cameras installed in the hall which is the reception, but I doubt if they are working. We have to look out for food options. There is no facility for food in this homestay. It was just good with regards to budget wise.

I have stayed here with my family from 30.04.15 to 02.05.15. I was wondered about the helps provided by the owner of the estate Mr. Haroun. He helped in many ways. Invited and welcomed us in a polite manner after reaching the guest house, purchased tickets for entertainments of Thekkady, provided all guides/advice about our visits. The break fast was very nice and tasty, in a homely manner. The room arrangements are very beautiful and felt very good. I heard that all inner decoration materials of the suits and the shower room piping materials are brought from Dubai. The wash rooms are excellent. Finally we felt that the good value for the paid money. we cant get this type of International standard rooms at Kumily/Thekkady for such a low paid money. I recommend this home stay for all. No need to think. You can book immediately.

Cost effective stay. When I reach the room, I don't have any plan about trip, but they organized and helped me to experience a good trip. The host was very helpful with us, getting us tickets to trips with discounts. Comfortable stay to family. The hotel members are very concern and good people. Such a good home to stay friends.

Spent a wonderful time with family. The service was great and hospitality was really awesome. Nice home made food. Would definitely stay here if I visit Thekaddy again, and would also recommend friends visiting Thekaddy. Forgot to tell this to the manager directly, you need to put a good door mat that would soak water better in the bathroom. Other than that everything was good - neat and well maintained room with pleasant interiors. Keep up the good work!!!
