Green Home Stay Kolkata - Hotel in Kolkata - 24 Paraganas North, India

i stayed there for 2 days and it's very budget friendly. there is a free drinking water supply for the customers. the rates are quite cheap but the location is very remote. it's inside a locality and it is also somewhat difficult to reach as it's not on the main road. the maintenance was not good as the front desk and reception was very untidy. it was not even cleaned regularly. we saw the host the time we entered and after that he was never present in the reception. at night the front gate was kept open which made us feel very unsafe as it's not normal for anyone to not lock their place of accomodation at night. anyone could enter at any time and the owner wouldn't even notice. the room were unkempt too, the bed sheets look too old along with the bed covers. the bathroom was somewhat fine. but maintenance is a big problem.

This was my second time here. I came again because I had a good experience the first time. This time also I got all the good services. Great place!

Extremely unhygienic and bad. The vibe & atmosphere of the place is off. Did not feel safe for female guests. The host is a creepy man, if you follow closely, most pictures are screenshot of some hidden camera or CCTV. 5 star reviews posted here are totally fake. The location is remote with bad condition of roads. The condition of the whole house is the worst part. The rooms are extremely small, bathrooms are worse than hell it seems. The toilet was black stained. One bucket was kept, which had a dead house lizard decomposing in it. The bedsheets, covers & blankets were smelling to the point where it couldn't be used. The trash was not even cleaned. Also, rifles were kept on display and overall the atmosphere was extremely unpleasant. Altogether this place is a scam. I will definitely not recommend staying at this dirty dungeon.

Had a memorable stay at the place. The owner of the house was kind, friendly, and humorous person. He provided an excellent service. If you are staying at the place, the food is highly recommended as it includes traditional Bengali dishes prepared by the owner himself. It is the best and most affordable accommodation if you are visiting Kolkata by a plane as it is nearby to the Airport.

Distant from the main town area, so that we used to hire taxis towards metro station.Both online and offline taxis available.Motor Rickshaws are also an option. Nearby Metro station : Dum Dum Nearby local railway station : Dum Dum Junction. Drinking water dispenser is available. Very budget friendly rate.The area is a little bit conjested for cars and also by considering parking recommend to people who travel without their own vehicle.

Dhiman Paul is the best! We had quite a bad experience in a nearby hostel the night before, after landing in Kolkata as our first Indian stop. Dhiman Paul payed a lot of attention to our needs. Very good stay. Stuff behavior is very good. Room rent is comparatively low. Room, bathroom and bedcover all are clean.
