Grand Xenia - Hotel in Ajmer - Ajmer, India

It's almost 6km away from Dargah sharif.Property looks like 4star but service is 2star and room cleaning is not upto mark quite dirty.Water quality is pathetic.Above all breakfast was awesome.

During my recent visit to Grand Xenia Hotel in Ajmer, I had the opportunity to dine at their rooftop restaurant, Urban Table. The restaurant's ambiance was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the evening. The rooftop setting offered a beautiful and enchanting view of the city, creating a captivating atmosphere for a memorable dining experience. As for the food, I found it to be somewhat average. While the menu had a decent selection of dishes, the flavors and presentation didn't quite meet my expectations. The taste was acceptable, but it lacked the wow factor that one would hope for, especially in a hotel of this caliber. However, the aspect that disappointed me the most was the service. The staff seemed overwhelmed and struggled to keep up with the demands of the diners. It took considerable time for our orders to be taken and even longer for the food to arrive at our table. The slow service impacted the overall enjoyment of the meal and left us feeling a bit frustrated. On a more positive note, the rooftop ambiance did manage to salvage some of the shortcomings. The scenic view, especially during the evening when the city lights came alive, was quite breathtaking. It created a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, making it an excellent spot for unwinding with friends or loved ones. One aspect of Urban Table that I would like to caution potential diners about is the smoking issue. During my visit, I noticed that many people were smoking on the rooftop, which could be uncomfortable for non-smokers and individuals with asthma or other respiratory conditions. The restaurant management should take steps to create designated smoking areas or implement policies that cater to the comfort of all guests. In conclusion, my experience at Urban Table in Grand Xenia Hotel was a mixed one. While the rooftop ambiance was undoubtedly beautiful, the food and service left much to be desired. The slow service and smoking issue may deter families with kids or those with respiratory sensitivities from fully enjoying the dining experience. If the restaurant can improve its service efficiency and address the smoking concerns, it has the potential to be a top-notch dining destination in Ajmer. Until then, I would consider it an above-average option for those seeking a scenic rooftop setting for their meal.

All the amenities and services provided are really appreciable...the buffet breakfast was awesome.... deserves top rating at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this property. Spacious rooms, neat and clean bathrooms, family friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, awesome hospitality and quality of food was highly appreciated.

The property was good staff was excellent in behaviour expect the gate gaurd as I guess he don't know how to talk with guests. My room fridge was not working when I checked in but later the staff changed it. Pool was not that much clean and the showers of pool site were not working neither in females or in males changing room. At breakfast my watermelon juice had a small insect in it. Though I didn't mentioned it to the staff but yah it should be taken care. In lunch I ordered pizza nd it was delicious. Rest over all the experience was good. It was great, the staff wished us and suggested us to visit the roof top nd we went to rooftop bar had a great time there.

Management is not properly cordinated.... In case of any health related issue no dispensary service available. Highly expensive hotel with no food quality taste only rooms are good. Parking is also available at our own risk.

It happened me thrice, bar is very small, If they have booked the bar they must have another good place with AC sit but they don't. I would like to give 1 star but gave 2 stars because of ambience at evening on rooftop.

Inexperienced staff, poor service, if u want to ear proper food carry chapatis from your home because they won't bother to ask you. Don't even expect they would give u plates, first food comes then plates if asked

The hotel is good,but the rooms need to makeover, as it looks like Lil boring, food was okay, pool was nice and we enjoyed swimming as a couple.
