Grand Serenaa Hotel & Resorts - Resort hotel in Puducherry - Villupuram, India

It is certainly a good place to stay with family and friends! The food was delicious, amenities were great! They have a Swimming pool, recreation Centre - Pool table, Carrom, Foosball, and a large lawn to play cricket. To access the recreation center, you need to pay a refundable caution deposit of 1000 and the same will be refunded once you are done accessing the same. The parking was spacious and can handle the inflow of crowd. We booked two meals, Breakfast was complimentary, and we paid additionally for Dinner, but there are many small restaurants nearby in the proximity of 1kms where you can buy fruits, food, and medicine in case of urgency. They have also kept cycles including kids for you to ride around the resort. They can add a shuttle court too, considering the enormous space available. They have a kids' play area too, I am sure the kids will love it. The room service was good! The stay was pleasant, they can improve in removing the slight odour in the room, the odour that comes when it is closed for a prolonged time and there was a small cockroach in the room in spite of the doors and windows being closed all the time. They have meeting rooms and a party hall, which can be a good location for special occasions, there is no beach nearby, it comes before the toll gate and on the way to Panchavadi temple. The rest of it was great!

Stayed a night with good offer. Large spacious room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Swimming pool is great for both kids and adults. Clean water and well maintained. Restaurant (for lunch or dinner) may be bit expensive. We opted for Complimentary breakfast and dinner at affordable price. The food was delicious with variety of food. Only issue was room service, which needs to be improved.

Resort is good but food and services provided are horrible by unfriendly staff. When our car entered main entrance, nobody come forward to pickup our luggage, even though some staff members are present. First time saw tick gravy typed yellow coloured tomotto soup which we did not consume. In two days we stayed in this big resort, hardly sow 1/2 dozen tourists. Very expensive and pathetic. Will not visit this resort again.

Spacious environment. Good place for kids to run around. Swimming pool and play area was very good. Cycling is available. A Lady staff at the reception was very welcoming and served juice.Buffet Breakfast was the highlight and the best.

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the delicious lunch that was provided to us. The variety and quality of the non-vegetarian meal options were outstanding, particularly the delectable seafood dishes that truly impressed our taste buds. What truly stood out during our dining experience was the impeccable hospitality demonstrated by the staff members who served us the lunch. Their attentiveness, friendliness, and dedication to ensuring our satisfaction were truly commendable. Their efforts added an extra touch of enjoyment to our time at Grand Serenaa Hotel & Resorts. Overall, I cannot praise Grand Serenaa Hotel & Resorts enough for the delightful experience they provided. From the moment I arrived until the end of our lunch, every aspect was top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay with excellent food and exceptional service.

First of all, this is not in Pondicherry, it falls in TN. When you enter the premise, you will like it, moving across the porch towards the reception, you will slowly wish to have never come here in the first place. The staffs are rude and unpleasant, most importantly they are short staffed, the max capacity is 70 rooms, but only 20 rooms were occupied, so you can guess the picture. The rooms are old and poorly maintained, the room locks, table,cupboard, taps, all re loose and woobly. The poorly lit rooms, corridors and bathrooms give you an aura of a haunted house. The food taste is decent with good selection, again pathetic service. It dampened my otherwise good trip

The resort was good and decent for a family stay. The food was good and cost was reasonable. The room was very much spacious and neatly maintained. Few drawbacks we faced was , issue with drinking water supply. And swimming pool was not neat at all , which has to be cleaned regularly.
