Grand Palace Hotel and Spa - Resort hotel in Yercaud, Kombaikkadu - Salem, India

The location is too good. Staff is friendly. A few things that can be improved are: 1. There's too much noise from the corridors and neighbouring balconies even when you shut your doors. 2. Wifi hardly worked during our entire stay. 3. The food is good, but not worth the price that's charged. It can be much much better and the quantity is average for the price they charge. 4. Please don't call the guests and promote your spa when they are relaxing in the rooms. These marketing activities should be done at the reception or when you meet the guests outside of their rooms. Overall, we had a good stay. This property has amazing potential if they make adequate changes based on genuine customer feedback.

Good hospitality and helpful staff. Nice experience and good location. Good for kids. The only concern is that the room could have been cleaned better. At first glance that seems to be wow. But later when we use it we can find dirt on the floor, The rest room odours. A room air freshener can be added.

The stay was pleasant and the location convenient. Situated on the hill top it has beautiful view of both the valley and the city mountain side. Hotel is spread over a wide area and has all the amenities required for family to have a pleasant stay. Children activities both outdoor and indoor and child friendly services. Due to understaffed the services are delayed, but the staffs are very courteous and well behaved. The price during the off seasons are reasonable but during the peak season it is not justified.

Had a nice experience during the visit to this place. The restaurant and the meeting halls were fun and exciting through the activities conducted there for the families. The ambience and neatness of the hotel is notable. The weather was great at the hotel and enjoyable. Apart from the extra effort which needs to be taken for the toiletries, the place is good and a pleasant stay.

This hotel is located at a beautiful location, views from every corner of this hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. The room staffs are very courteous and helpful, they respond to your concerns immediately and get it sorted. I had taken superior room with balcony, rooms were super clean and neat bathroom. View from balcony was good. All the amenities were clean and neatly maintained, pool was clean, kids play area equipment were neatly maintained. Evening fun activities were good, Mr. Arun ensured to keep the guests entertained for an hour in the evening. Kudos to his efforts. For the price they charge per day they can offer few complimentary activities but unfortunately every adventure activity is charged. About the food, This was one below average during our entire stay. The items for the breakfast were stale at 9am in the morning, also taste was kind of blunt and average. The waiter are super confused all the time and fail to supply your order so I had to go order and pick the items from live counter myself. And to mention the service is super slow to test your patience. Food delivered to Room was good and again takes more time, almost an hour to be delivered. However the food are too costly for the quality, charging 190rs for 40rs 7up is way too much and not acceptable.

Had a great stay at Grand Palace. The restaurant has great menu. The staff were courteous and helpful. Mr. Sankar at the restaurant was always smiling, friendly and very helpful with his suggestions. A special mention to the flavourful and tasty biriyani made by their chef Mr. Subramani. Overall a great experience.

Stay was awesome,views location everything was fascinating. We had really great time at lawn, play area. Complimentary breakfast was delicious had all the varieties. Staffs were approachable especially Bell desk dhilip helped us throughout the stay.

Good hospitality and clean rooms. Had wonder trekking experience offered by Management. Food was exceptionally good! Many activities available to engage kids. DJ could have been bit more engaging.
