The rooms were very spacious, clean and had the amenities we needed. Food was delicious and with many choices.The staffs were friendly , patient and helpful. Very much satisfied with the service and hospitality. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Highly recommend!

I'm rating this establishment with one star only because it's required to leave a review, but honestly, they deserve zero stars. The room was the worst I've ever encountered; there was a persistent foul odor emanating from the bathroom. Additionally, there was no cell signal in the room due to its location in the heart of Chennai. I urgently requested hot water, but what they provided was a filthy and grimy kettle. In my attempt to clean it, the water turned black. The room itself was extremely dark, with no natural sunlight. If you're still considering staying here, go ahead, but I recommend asking for a room with better sunlight.

I booked a double bed room with an extra bed for me and my two children. Room is clean but cupboard is so dirty to avoid you to keep your belongings away from there. Dinning space is also not sufficient to have food in one go. Washroom looks good but every inner corner is dirty and black. Overall despite of an old property management has tried to keep it maintained.

Well maintained rooms with clean bedsheets and polite & helpful staff. Close to metro and Egmore railway station. Breakfast spread was good, can keep bread toast also. Breakfast space is too small . Need to take care of cockroaches, you can see few on bed side also. Clean linens and well maintained rooms

I had an extremely pleasant stay at the Grand Elegant with my wife. The room was very clean and spacious and had all the necessary amenities. Moreover, its prime location close to the Chennai Central Railway Station was an added advantage for us. The staffs were also very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend Grand Elegant to all.

Dear Management and Staff Members, This is the third time I am staying in the Grand Elegant in last 6-7 months. Everytime the stay is good. Always the staffs are really good and respectful. I appreciate the effort by management more that the polite behaviour of the staff members.

I'm rating this hotel 2 stars only for the rooms. Coupled with the not so good rooms and the only hindi speaking staff, this hotel will be your best choice if you are a North Indian or hindi speaking person. If you are not a person who doesn't know hindi, then don't even think about staying in this hotel because no one know english and they can't understand anything you speak in other than hindi. They don't care or mind if you do not speak hindi. So think thrice before deciding to stay here. I also noticed that all the good ratings for this hotel are from North Indians who were extremely happy to stay here. Also, there were cockroaches inside the room and the remote.
