Review Summary: The organisation was pathetic the staffs were not able to manage the orders. They served dish other than what you ordered for and the portion quantity was very less for the price charged. The taste of the food was very ordinary. It's so happened that we reached the restaurant by 2:40 p.m and we asked for the menu. The spoons were unhygienically placed on the table instead of a napkin. We placed the order for the starters and kept waiting and waiting. I then had to remind one of the waiters to bring our starters and after that we were served the soup that we ordered. Then we had to wait more 10 mins for the other two starters that we ordered. We had to again remind them of it after which they brought us 2 dishes, one of which we had ordered and the other was different from what we had ordered. Even after complaining they brought us back the same dish and this time we were so fed up that we didn't say anything. The food quantity was also very less as compared to the price charged. Only 5 small pieces of prawn on a quarter plate for Rs. 670. We thought that the preparation time is too long so we placed order for the main course while having our starters so that we could have our main course on time. We had to reach somewhere by 4:45 p.m. We made the order for the main course at around 3:15 p.m. and until 3 47 p.m. we did not have anything on our table. In the mean time the people on the table next to us also got frustrated... they had ordered for plane boiled rice, Nan, one veg curry and one non-veg curry. They also had been waiting for more than 40 mins but did not receive the food on which they started complaining. When the food was brought they did not bring the veg curry and told them that they had not placed any order for a veg curry. This made them furious because it was already 3:40 p.m and they were starving. So they started shouting and complaining which was very obvious and natural on their part. While all this ruckus was going on, one of the waiters asked them to go out and shout if they want. This was very ill mannered and unhospitable behaviour. We also waited for 5 minutes and at around 3:50 p.m we thought that we should also leave because even if the order arrives now we will not be able to eat properly and will not be able to order deserts because we had to leave by 4:25 so that we could reach the destination by 4:45. So we paid for the soup and the two starters and cancelled the rest of the orders and left. Overall it was a very pathetic and disappointing experience at the Grand Darbar in Grand residency.

Utterly horrible. Don't go to this place they misbehaved with customers. We ordered at 3:15 and it was 4 but we hadn't been served food. The ones sitting behind us waited for more than an hour I guess. They ordered paneer and were not served that. When asked they say that they didn't order this. Also the staffs misbehaved, shouting at the customers. There is no manger as well who comes to give assurance that we will compensate you. Also the prices are extremely high. We ordered a prawn fry which wss just 4 small pieces but its cost was Rs680.

Excellent ambience. Excellent food. Little high price. But quality is good.

Price is very high N any way feeling better with test of yummy dishes

Very tasty food at a nominal price. Atmosphere is also good. Service wise it was bit slow.

I have been visiting this restaurant for a few years now. The quality has been improved in the recent past. And the food now tastes really good. The service is also good. Overall a good experience. They also have car parking space, so that's a added bonus.

COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY Took lunch on Christmas day yesterday,thought that it would be a great experience but totally wrong, ordered mutton biryani,butter Naan,chicken lababdar,chicken lollipop as appetizer.Worst mutton biryani, very small pieces,smell was really bad,mutton was burnt,no fried onion,no flavour actually it's not biryani at all,giving 2 stars just for good butter Naan,charged Rs 400 for 6 medium pieces, very less gravy chicken lababdar,charged Rs350 for 6 pieces no sauce and very hard and dry chicken lollipop, just fried the chicken in besan.And kuchumber served with biryani was the worst should be thrown in gutter and the bill was Rs1500,food experience Rs100, please search for better places if you want good food.
