Simply the best place I stayed in India during a 6 month travel around the country. Giles and Silva are lovely people, very caring and helpful. Their hospitality is gold! The house is very cozy, the balconies have beautiful views to the garden, and the bedroom and bathroom are super clean an comfy. Everything was so comfortable that we extended our stay in Trivandrum just to rest and relax at the guesthouse before continuing our travel. If you want a peaceful place to chill with super comfy and clean amenities, Graceful is that place. I cannot forget the breakfast -- everyday something local and different to eat and always delicious! Definitely a home away from home. Thanks Giles and Silvia for everything :)

Without a doubt, the best guesthouse/homestay/hotel I've ever stayed in India. The house is super cozy with large balconies boasting beautiful garden vistas. Peaceful environment, ideal to chill after a long travel around India. The room and bathroom are super clean and comfortable. Giles and Silvia's hospitality is beyond you would expect -- they're lovely people, caring, helpful, and we loved to chat with them everyday. The breakfast is superb and very honest! Everyday a different and delicious local dish, with fresh home made bread and fresh fruits. It really felt like a home away from home. Simply perfect! Really charming, cheap and cheerful home stay in its own little oasis. Giles and Sylvia were warm hosts. It was a great introduction to India.

Graceful indeed! We stayed here for two nights in October 2022 and enjoyed the accommodation. The homestay is located in a beautiful residential area full of greenery a 15 min rickshaw ride away from the city centre. The house is elegantly decorated and in the middle of a luscious garden. Our room was on the top floor, comfortable and large, with a beautiful wide balcony with a lovely view of trees. Giles is a very kind and knowledgeable gentleman and his wife is an excellent cook. We ate the best breakfast of our Kerala trip here! Definitely recommend!!! Zoe & Francesca

We started and ended our travels in Kerala at Graceful Homestay. It's a great hidden gem in Thiruvananthapuram, set in lovely, quiet, tree filled grounds away from busy roads. Our room had a huge terrace outside it. Giles is a friendly and knowledgeable host who it was a pleasure chatting to, and his wife made us delicious breakfasts.

Graceful homestay is a really quiet and extremely clean place to stay. Giles is a painter and language specialist and will share his interesting knowledge with you, as well as stories about Kerala, and his wife will cook you the best Indian meals ! She also takes extreme good care of the house. I was supposed to stay 2 nights and finally stayed 6.

The room and accommodations are amazing. The host are great and very friendly. I would definitely return there or advise a friend to do so. This is very calm place. It is located a little off from the city center so there's a limited choice of restaurants nearby.
