Well staffed and serviced. The astounding views are absolutely worth waking up early in the morning! There are breathtaking sceneries for photo enthusiasts, a diversity of flora and fauna, and a large number of bird species for birdwatchers. There is a beautiful cool breeze in the mornings. Truly needs to be visited atleast once.
Good view point. Especially when the dam is open. Best time to visit there is rainy season, during onam time. Can get a clear view of the dam, park as well the water reservoir besides the the main shutter. There is no charge to go to this place. Just go there enjoy the view. Click some nice pictures. You can also get a clear view of the malampuzha gardens, which surrounds the dam view. At dawn the lightings of the gardens and the dam is superb. Those view can also be captured from this spot. Altogether this spot can provide you with a good scenic beauty as well as a good view of the dam.
