Govind Regency - GURUVAYUR - Hotel in Guruvayur - Thrissur, India

Only 100 meters to Temple. Good Room, Bathroom was also good and hygienic in adjustable size, Parking area available for less than 10 cars(not counted) But....Only one doublecot for 3 adult. 250/- for extra bed. They maintaining whole building very clean and neat, staffs are very friendly. They done everything to prevent mosquitoes(net,curtain,airholes net) , but mosquito finding other loop holes to enter inside of rooms and they gave us a sleepless night . Please so any other way to prevent mosquitoes its not about 1 or 2 We must have killed at least 30 mosquitoes throughout the night, Please take this as a serious issue Only 100 meters to Temple. The Govind Regency has some areas for improvement. The night staff didn't provide the best service as they seemed preoccupied with their own tasks even during check-in. The rooms, while clean, have an outdated appearance and are in need of a refresh. However, the hotel's prime advantage lies in its proximity to Guruvayoor temple, just a 500-meter walk away. To ensure comfort, it's advisable to choose rooms on the ground or second floor, as the top floor tends to get excessively hot.

Room is small. It was clean. Did not get hot water for bath. Very close to the temple. Was able to extend by a few hours by paying a little extra.

I had booked a room recently. It is non refundable. Only advantage is situated near to the temple.The reception poeple itself is not hospitable. I had booked an extra bed too. But while entering to the room it was not been provided.Then when i asked for it they said it is Rs. 250 extra. Later they rectified their mistake and provided an extra bed wich was smelly. I will never recomment this high boosted hotel to anyone. It is not worthy the money you give.

Their response while contacting them to check reservation details was good. The front desk lady representative responded good to our queries and helped us with all the information needed. The room boy also helped us for parking the vehicle in their conjested parking space. They also gifted us while checking out as it was New Year Day. Rooms were small but good for family. Early morning hot water facility was also available

Very near to temple is only the advantage. Nothing else to say. I do not recommend this hotel.

room was neat and clean.. spacious as well.. recommended for the temple goers since it is very near to the temple..

Horrible experience that I ever had! It would be better if we stayed at a bus stand so we wouldn't get as many mosquito bites.They deserve a rating of less than one star. They are charging 1300/- for single non AC room for one day, comparatively rate also too high for such a third rated room.
