The institute offers diploma engineering programs in Mechanical Engineering and Architectural Assistantship. The institute is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and highly qualified staff. The institute was honoured on several occasions due to extraordinary performance of its staff and students in academic as well as extra curricular activities.

Government Polytechnic, Vadnagar was started in 2003 after Shri Narendra Modi became Chief Minister of Gujarat. I had taken admission in 2003 in Electronics & Communication Branch. That time there is no such campus. We was studied with arts college students. There was no any facility. For practical we was going Government Girls Polytechnic Ahmedabad and Kheralu College. I was Nice time. I always remember Vadnagar and all my friends. All staff was very nice.

Performing arts college is also in same campus.
