Government Museum - Museum in Karur - Karur, India

Very small place hidden from view but has a good antique collection. There are two museum, each few kilometers away from each other. Very ancient Tamil coins are there.

Small, little place, could be better maintained. Has some intriguing coins and pre-historic stone tools. If you are around do give a quick look.

Poorly maintained and nothing ancient about this place. No reciept provided, all money goes to the admins pocket. Even though digital payment is there he needs cash.

It's a nice place to see. Printouts of Gandhiji life's was not attractive. I visited with my kids. It's a new experience to them..

Friendly staff . a small collection of local artifacts and other things like coins and other information. 25 Rs or so to enter and to take photos. We have so much history around this area but not much collection in display in terms of our old stone carvings, farming tools, mud pot works, weapons, coins, palm leaf books, kitchen tools and utencils etc...lot of room to improve..and locals can donate artifacts from the above list if they cannot preserve them on their own and museum is accepting/displaying the person name who id donating as well..

This is minimized Museum,.but overall look normal.but iam expect more .2. This museum is to small in karur town. The government spend step to improve their overall. But they are not doing,.....nothing like awesome,Karur town museum, like that small temple.
