Government Medical College Wayanad Mananthavady - Featured Reviews (146)
Wayanad Government Medical College in Mananthavady receives a three-star rating due to concerns about cleanliness. While the medical services provided are essential, the hospital premises should be better maintained to ensure a hygienic environment. Consistent attention to cleanliness is crucial for the well-being of patients and the overall hospital experience. By improving cleanliness standards and maintaining a tidy atmosphere, the hospital can enhance patient satisfaction and instill confidence in visitors. Addressing these issues would elevate the hospital's reputation and make it a more welcoming and comfortable place for those seeking medical care.
District medical college is only in name. Facilities are limited. We should have to go calicut in case of emergencies. What a terrible situations is this.
Need more improvements in laboratory ( waiting time for results and for taking sample ) parking ( only doctors and hospital staff are allowed to park in those feasible space)
Excellent treatment, Well efficient hospital and staffs. Totally different from other government institutions. More than that its a clean and well maintained area, Remarkable experience.
Some non uniformed staffs especially in gynaecological department dealing very badly and they are very rude, I think they are spoils good name of this hospital. Otherwise I can give you five star
Waiting area and bystanders accommodations need to be improved
I had the most worst experience at mananthavady medical college few months back when i went for my delivery. I am here to write about gynaecologist Dr. Nazeera Banu who treated me like a worm just because my ethnicity is Tamil. She insulted me in front of other staffs and fellow doctors and even treated me unfairly. I wonder how these people who are discriminative and narrow minded still occupy a crucial position in health sector of our country. After all these articles in constitution and number of laws against discrimination and untouchability it is still practised among so called elites in the society. Never gonna visit this hospital ever again in my life even if it is the last hospital available on earth.
If a patient came with serious problems they only do reference to the next medical College. There's no parking facility for patients vehicles. In the op section there's no western toilets. Pathetic service
It is very good government hospital with all facilities. Providing good service and most of the Drs are good. Due to high volume of patients, some difficulties may face. But overall it's good. The new Gynaecology building is very nice and provides good treatment and care.
Good improvements when upgraded to medical college. Casualty is clean and neat. Overall cleanliness improved.
New multi story buidlings constructed
