Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital established in 2016, is a private medical college located in Durgapur besides NH 19, offers the Mbbs courses and has 50 State Government Seats & 100 Private Management seats. This college is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences and recognized by the National Medical Commission. Well cleaned with terrific services. The canteen food was good.

Located beside Delhi Kolkata Hwy ( GT road ), outskirts of Durgapur. It has 2 Multi Speciality Hospitals with cutting edge facilities under d Aegis of GIMSH. Bed capacity is above 650. Regarding cleanliness it is gd and hv drinking water, benches to sit. This hospital has attached nursing training building . It has beautiful garden infront of building. Ambulance is also available. 1 can easily get auto, bus for rly station .

Infrastructure and cleanliness is poor. It is like a horror house. More effort of improvement needed. Office and staff are very ordinary. Better options solicited. Please be sure of affiliation and grant of MCI before taking any decision. More development needed. When I visited the Institute the hospital was almost empty. Found no one in OPD, so? You decide.now NEXT would be compulsory as per Govt' norms for medical students to get a practising license from 2023(expected).can these students succeed this test? What percentage? You decide

Faculty, teaching staffs are good, but main problem is here all students ,teachers and official staffs show attitude, it also includes my batchmates, lack of punctuality, discipline and ethics are observed in every moment, as I am a older student of Ramakrishna mission, I am not accustomed with these types of behaviour and indiscipline

This Hospital Is Highly Medical Staff Maintained Facilities, Doctor, Nurses Are Very Careful And Helping Nature. Reception Staff Also Good Behaviour.

Cleanlines wise it is very good. We can request local people to plant more and more trees to make the locality more happening and beautiful.

I went to see the girl's hostel for nursing ...i just have a question why don't they provide wardrobes in room... The amount they take is really high and according to the amount they should actually provide an Almira to each student . They have a room of 4 beds 4 tables and 4 plastic chairs but not a single Almira how can students keep their belongings it's really difficult. At least they should provide each room with 2 Almira of medium size . And one more please change those floor it is so disgusting . People can literally slip they are just in such a bad condition.
