goSTOPS Jaipur - Backpacker Hostel in Jaipur - Jaipur, India

It was my 1st dorm hostel experience and it was amazing. It was such an amazing experience to stay here and had talked with many strangers. The staff was nice and in front of the main entrance there are 2 shops where you can find anything for your needs. Rooms and beds were clean but the washroom wasn't hygienic. But other social areas were maintained and they had ac in those rooms. The restaurant provides services 24x7 but they did not have the quality as everything is frozen food. Overall i think it was the value of money experience as it was affordable.

Vibes are good. Management is good. Didn't like the property planning. The common washroom has a wash basin, toilet, and shower all together in one room. If you want to wash your hands, you have to wait for the washroom to get empty and unlocked from inside. Otherwise go to the roof for which you have to climb 2 floors just to wash your hands. There must have been more wash basins. Faced some mosquito problems but after raising concern, staff applied mosquito repellent at desired places. Wifi is good In the projector area, there is no OTT subscription. Only live tv is there. Only one wall fan is there which is not enough to circulate air in the whole room. For Ac, you have to ask the staff to turn it on. There is no direct provision to turn Ac on. It is definitely better from other hostels in Jaipur but there is lots of scope for improvement.

They don't even give soap, towel. Baggage locker there but you should have own lock. Fan noisy.Zostel, moustaches, gostays Jaipur better. In 8 bed common washroom. Very far from Amber, 10 min from metro.

Only female dorm is comfortable . Good staff- the male staff don't come in at night. Mornings they come for cleaning and maintenance.... Rooms cleaned everyday. I had a good 3 day stay. I was unsure so booked just 1 day initially then later extended for my entire stay in jaipur ... Only thing missing was provision for common kitchen which guests could use to make Maggie or coffee whenever they like..... They do run a kitchen and there is always zomato but having option of making my own coffee and Maggie is a must in hostel stays.

We booked a stay with *gostops jaipur* for 21st July 2023 and booked 2 rooms. The rooms stink. They were not clean. We booked non smoking room and both rooms smelled like smoke. Bathrooms were gross and bugs were everywhere! ! The door did not seem secure and was not evened out so bugs got in easily. The second room was full of gnats. We requested for room change and the other room was even more dirty and stinky. We were not able to stand there and asked for refund but they had so called no refund policy. This is my WORST EXPERIENCE OF ANY HOSTEL EVER. I had taken a bed in the girls dormitory. Firstly it is right opposite to the kitchen and there's no latch in the girls dorm room. The staff boys were entering the room as and when they wished without knocking on the pretext of checking the beds , washroom etc and the bathroom was dirty as hell. The staff were banging the door n opening n closing it disturbing my peaceful sleep. No course of conduct or decorum in this hostel from the staffs. I reported to the property manager THRICE but no action taken!!! Staffs knock the door at late at 11-12pm at night and as early as 6am and throughout the day whenever they feel like. It's worse than a bus stop. AVOID GO STOP JAIPUR.

Clean Beds, rooms and washrooms. The reason for the 4 star review is that even the lockers are chargeable, which I haven't seen in any of the goStops I've been to earlier.

No duvet cover or linen availability . It lacks some of the basic amenities like a washroom attached to your dorm room. It's also a little cunjusted.
