Terrible Experience I'm sorry to say that my recent stay at this hostel was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. From the moment I arrived, I noticed several issues that made my stay unbearable. The first problem was the salty water. It was impossible to take a shower without feeling like I was covered in a layer of salt. It left my hair dry and my skin itchy. The rusty bathroom fittings only added to the unpleasant experience, as they looked unhygienic and unappealing. The bathrooms themselves were also unclean and had a bad smell. The floors were sticky and the toilets were not cleaned properly. I felt uncomfortable using the bathroom and had to hold my breath every time I entered. The mosquito problem was another issue. The hostel seemed to be infested with mosquitoes, and no matter how many times I tried to get rid of them, they kept coming back. I woke up covered in mosquito bites every morning. The staff was not helpful at all. They seemed uninterested in assisting guests and they don't even know or suggest any nearby places to visit. They just smile... Every bed had a small fan which was making too much noise and there is no way we can regulate the speed..Having a noisy fan was incredibly frustrating and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Lastly, the common areas were unclean and unkempt. The overall atmosphere was unpleasant and unwelcoming. In conclusion, I would not recommend this hostel to anyone. The problems with salty water, rusty bathroom fittings, unclean bathrooms, mosquitoes, unhelpful staff, noisy fan and unclean common areas made my stay a miserable one.

Spacious, well maintained, conveniently located property. Each bed has curtains for privacy, 2 sets of electrical sockets, a fan, a bed lamp. Private closets to keep your stuff. Good air conditioning. Clean bathroom. No running hot water but was provided a bucket of hotwater on request. Reasonably priced food. Young, enthusiastic staff. Overall, fantastic value!

A very good place to stay, The only disadvantage was they did not have a hot water facility when I visited but they arranged me a bucket of hot water when requested. The water tastes different I'm not sure if it was the tank which was not clean or the city water is polluted, I had to use mineral water for brushing. The common area needs to be cleaned more often. Overall the place is very good and budget friendly.

We booked ahead considering a lot of good reviews. But didn't liked it overall. Most of the private rooms were smelling bad. Finally end up getting a room at 3rd floor which was little better comparatively. But as lift was not available need to carry whole luggage to and down from room. Staff appeared to be too much into rules and regulations instead focusing on customer experience. I believe service is not value for money. Even nearby hotels had better deals on better rooms. Will not recommend.

Nice stay. Bed and Linen was clean. Rooms were nice. Dorm AC was working the way it should. The common area was also good but the air conditioners of the common area were under maintenance. The support staff is very cooperative. Undoubtedly made the stay very very comfortable. Also the terrace common area is quite good but with the weather being hot and humid we didn't use it. Taj view Overall - Nothing better than this can happen at such an affordable price. Made new friends. I was not sure about my plan further (solo trip to Kasol) but they suggested and i am on their suggested plan And so far it looks all wonderful.

Staff is very polite and respectful and helpful. Don't go on the pictures, you'll be disappointed. The property doesnt look the way as shown in the pictures. During my stay the shower wasn't working, i told the staff about it still it dint get fixed.

It was first time I stayed in a hostel, i was highly sceptical about it. But did Gostopps proved me wrong? Hell yeah they did and I'm glad. Had such a wonderful experience there, everyone from staff to fellow hostellers were so cool and friendly, that I never had any problems or issues whatsoever. I recommend everyone who want to try something new give this one a try I'm sure you won't regret

Pros: Staff is very very Polite, Supportive & Nice; Location of property is good; Open Parking is available Cons: Property is not at all hygienic- Mosquitos all over the place, poor maintenance of overall property, Room size too small, Common area located in basement- can't spend much time over there, No lift to go on 3rd floor rooms
