Goroomgo Gokul Anand Bhawan Puri - Hotel in Puri - Puri, India

It was the worst experience they cancel our pre paid booking just because we were late due to our delayed train and they said this at 12:30 am night. We earlier informed them about our delayed train and that time they confirmed our booking but at last without informing They cancelled our bookings. They were very rude ,not behaved well and they were also not ready to refund the money. We were having a 2 year kid with us and just because of them we were finding another hotel at 1:30 am night. The hotel was very far from city as well as beach.

A must stay at puri, very reasonable rates, maintained twice daily, fully air conditioned, located behind light house with easy reach to Baliapanda beach. Owner is a true gentleman, very helpful with full knowledge of the entire locality. Food, water, transportation was arranged at door on request. We felt at home.

They just have rooms with bed, nothing more. Even for the tea in the morning you have to find a shop nearby and then carried it to your room. However, they arrange lunch and dinner from a nearby restaurant to deliver it in your room. That food was reasonably priced and tasted good. They delivered the food with a set of old newspapers so that we can spread it on our bed before putting the food on it to consume. No table, no desk in the room. Bathroom was not very clean. No hot water supply in the taps. In the morning, on request, they arranged half a bucket of hot water from a common bathroom at ground floor. No staff seen other than one care taker at the front desk and one part time maid for cleaning in the morning. The guys at the front desk in both the shifts were well behaved and helping.

Room is good according to the rate. Budget friendly rooms, very peaceful location, 200 mtrs to sea beach and starting from cleaning staffs to manager are very polite and helpful. No restaurant available in this hotel and is extending floors for more rooms and restaurant in near future. Altogether it is great place for budget tours.

Nice place to stay. Mr Shakti called and pre-informed me that room is ready for check in while I was on the way. Check in hardly took 5 mins. He is very kind and helpful. Mr Michael is also very co-operative. They won't allow you to step out of your room for anything as they are ready for all room service that too 24 x 7. Room and bathroom are very clean. They helped in arranging Auto, Food (tie-up with nearby restaurant for providing food which is decent enough), Tea, Hot water for bathing early morning, warm water for drinking, etc. They have provided best room service. Have rarely seen such end to end service being provided by Hotel people. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for Budget hotel with Best service. You get more than what you pay for in terms for service and room. Location is very near to Lighthouse sea beach (walkable 5 mins) and easily reachable from Railway station. Transport is easily available to any part of Puri.

It was nice stay at Gokul Anand Bhawan, Puri. It's near Lighthouse, Baliapanda . Staff were nice. Rooms were clean. Everyday maid is coming to clean the room. Affordable price rooms. Will recommend this hotel.

Mr. Shakti and his team are doing an excellent job, when it comes to customer satisfaction and providing an excellent service. I stayed in the Gokul Anand Bhawan in Puri and the serviceswe got here were excellent....the behavior of the staff is really good here.....I am satisfied with the services provided here and would recommend it to the travelers of Puri.....

It was horrified experience for us. The owner was very rude, owner was asking full payment just we reached there after 550km of bike ride. We can understand identity card is important to show once you reach to hotel, but atleast the owner should be human enough to give minimum of 15min time to give them full amount. We were there to stay for 4days 3nights and paid one day's amount as advance. However the owner was so ruthless, inhuman. The rooms they had provided were in ground floor. His behaviour was awful. Will never recommend anyone to stay there if they want to spend good time. The manager himself is owner of that hotel and the building. But he told us he didn't know who booked room for us. We called several times before going if the booking is made, on the top of that there was no such parking for two wheeler. Being two wheeler rider we called them before hand and they informed they have proper parking lot. It was disgustful stay with them
