The food is fantastic. A pure and perfect Gujarati Thali taste. If you are a Gujarati food lover, do visit this place. There are so many dishes with all different tastes. Ambiance is even better. The only issue is.... parking as the place is just beside S G Highway (service road), it's too difficult to park your vehicles. Even for two wheelers, too. But, overall, it is a good place to have your functions, family lunch, or dinner.
I've visited Gordhan Thal several times in the past, including my most recent visit just a few days ago. I must say, their ambiance, service, and seating arrangements are truly excellent. I'd easily give them a solid 5/5 for those aspects. The variety of food they offer is impressive, and while I found the taste to be above average, it didn't quite reach the level of exceptional. That said, I would still rate their food at a respectable 3.5 or 4/5. However, one major drawback of Gordhan Thal is the parking situation. Finding a parking space nearby can be an arduous task, and for that reason alone, I'm compelled to rate this place at a maximum of 2.5 or 3. If parking were more convenient, my rating would easily be higher, at 3.5 or 4/5."
Subtle taste of gujarati thali. It's not much spicy nor too sweet, but it can vary upon the tastebuds of different individuals. They're very famous for their unlimited gujarati thali. Many famous personalities have been here to enjoy gujarati delicacies. Likewise, they've maintained their standards, which made their legacy throughout the gujarati food enthusiasts till now. Personally, l love their ambience and their seating arrangements. Staff management is very cooperative.
It was a superb experience visiting this famous Thali place in Ahmedabad during visit. Chaas was especially amazing, ended up having 4 glasses. Service and ambience of the place is A1. Easy to reach from Thaltej metro station. Do consider reaching before the crowded lunch time as there will be waiting queue outside. Also, as it is an unlimited thali, do come with empty stomach to enjoy more.
