Very nice place close to the clocktower in the blue city. It has a very nice rooftop area where you can eat and hang out. In a good location to visit the fort and markets of the city. The rooms are simple but clean. I had a small problem with the AC but they fixed it as soon as I mentioned it. With all other things the staff were also very helpful and fair.

I am an experienced chef, and after eating this, it felt like the waiter cooked it. The service was very bad and the chapati was burnt. The anda curry only boiled eggs with salty water and no flavour .

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Gopal Homestay. The room was spacious and clean with a little balcony. The bed was big and so comfortable. Staff were helpful in organising us a guide for the city and the food was tasty. Being in the city centre it was noisy but to be expected. Good walking distance to attractions, I would recommend!

Following a local recommendation we came and stayed here! We were not disappointed!! A hidden in plain sight Gem. The rooms were huge, very comfortable and the bed was great. We also had a balcony view and the roof top view was wonderful! The staff are very friendly and welcome you as though you are a friend/family member. Sadly we only stayed one night but would Definitely return!! 100% recommend!!

Its located just next to the clock tower (with the stunning view of fort and whole city). Food is delicious, all prices are very good. Its a family business but everything is highly professional;)

Guest house agreable et bien situee. Les chambres de plutot bonne facture bien que bruyantes et assez sombres. Le service et l'attitude du gerant sont eux par contre en dessous de ce que suggere le cadre. Le personnel est agreable mais ne parle pas (ou tres peu) et ne lis pas l'anglais, les prises de commande au restaurant sont donc tres compliquees. Le gerant est quant a lui tout simplement execrable. Apres un accueil chaleureux et agreable son attitude a radicalement change, nous avons du defiler un par un pour effectuer le Check in, durant ce defile quasi militaire il s'est montre tres injonctif et particulierement peu agreable. De plus il passe son temps a regarder ses cameras (installees dans toutes les parties communes) sur un grand ecran a la reception ce qui donne l'impression d'etre surveilles. On peut ajouter a cela qu'il a ouvert une enveloppe que nous avions oublie sur son bureau. Petite anecdote pour terminer: au moment de payer la note finale il nous a presente un note de consommation de 9800 rupees sans detail, nous avons donne 10 000 et suggere qu'il nous rende la monnaie en nous donnant une consommation coutant 250 rupees et nous offre ainsi 50 rupees en guise de cadeau d'au revoir. Ce qu'il a quoi il a simplement repondu << No gifts >>. En bref un endroit charmant gache par le comportement de son gerant. Sa pingrerie (illustree par les consommables dans les chambres; deux petits savons pour trois et non remplaces durant le sejour) et son attitude altere definitivement l'experience.

Its a mixed feeling, the staff and the food is nice but the room we stayed is a bit uncomfortable (leak on the room, everything dusty, no soundsproof as u can barely hear the noisy road). The location is perfect nearby to the market and fort

We enjoyed a lot our stay at this guest house, bedrooms are quite big but the mattress were ok, if you are picky on how confortable your mattress is, maybe don't go for a 4-beds bedroom, only the double sized bed is amazing For the rest of it, people are nice and welcoming, food is ok and quite cheap, definitely recommend it for backpackers
