Goodman Restaurant & Bar - Bar & grill in Colva - South Goa, India

Very good and tasty food..... we have been there 3 days in a row and tried their lunch and dinner and found it very good food, reasonably priced as well. The Goan fish items are really good. Their karaoke night is not to be missed. The owner himself sings very well.

We had italian pizza. It was not Italian. The atmosphere was dull. We were the only people in the restaurant. The chilly flakes and oregano looked very old and damp. It wasn't fresh.

Excellent curry, came here 2 nights in a row to have the Aloo Gobi, food is very reasonably priced and very tasty, the staff are very nice and look after you well, they also wear party shirts, they also have sports playing and a good selection of popular English pop playing in the background. Would 100% recommend anyone to come here. I'd also be very interested to see what the weekend karaoke was like haha.

When we came here,the waiter didn't even get us water. We waited 15 mins for him but he never came at our table. The funny part is there was only one family apart from us,so why so much of delay. My dad got upset over it. When we ordered food,after 15 mins the waiter comes and tells us he doesn't have either of the 2 requested curries. So we ordered something else. The food was served after 30 mins of ordering, again there was only one family apart from ours that they had to serve. The food was HORRID. We ordered chapati which had super thick,uncooked corners,the chapati was breaking into pieces upon folding. We asked for recommendations from the hotel staff itself and we were not satisfied with the taste. Initially I wanted something veg in Xacuti. He said there's nothing veg that they can cook in Xacuti. The next time he came to told us that he doesn't have the requested items,he said he'll make veg Xacuti. It only had handful pieces of French beans,lots of carrot and potato. The taste was nowhere close to the Xacuti flavour. We spent over 90 mins there. In these 90 mins there was 5 families who came in,occupied the table and left without ordering when they realized no waiter showed up at their table. This place has a 4.0 rating on Google. I am very sure these are paid reviews because the food,ambience and the service was way below satisfactory. I will never recommend this place to anyone

The Good Man Bar, located on Colva Beach, falls far short of its name. The service here seems to prioritize foreigners and displays a condescending attitude towards Indian customers. The quality of the food was abysmal; a seafood soup was a complete disappointment, and the Goan Curry Prawn Rice failed to deliver the expected Goan flavors, there were no prawns in the dish and loaded with red chillies to overpower all other flavours. Surprisingly, we later discovered that the kitchen staff had been imported from Jharkhand, lacking any knowledge of Goan cuisine. We did complain about the quality , but to no avail as a short thin waiter in a goan colourful shirt was only interested to throw a bill on my face, least interested about the complain I was making. Overall, our experience was far from satisfactory and left a bitter taste in our mouths. The exorbitant prices and lackluster dishes are doing a disservice to unsuspecting tourists. If there were an option to rate negatively, I would have given a rating below zero.

Awesome place for breakfast and they DO serve the fresh food, worth waiting every minute

This restaurant is located nearby Colva main beach. Food taste and quality is awesome. Staffs are friendly and cooperative. Must visit restaurant if you are on Colva trip.
