One of the finest and most peaceful Shiva temple. A must visit stop for you if travelling to/from Pune-Nashik. No detour, highway touched, surrounded by greenery and with ample parking. Temple has 4 sub temple ( dedicated to dieties like Lord Ganesh, Vishnu, etc) with a temple for Nandi and the main Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva with centre Santorum having a huge Shivling. Carving of the temple are marvelous but as it was once attacked and invaded, the carvings are turned into the beautiful ruins now. Don't forget to visit (looking like swarg mandap ) entrance. Don't litter, also public common washroom are built nearby only at walking distance
Awesome place. It's not much known to people so it's less crowded so you can find calmness here. The construction of this temple is of Hemadpanthi. The carvings here are done in rock which is mesmerising. This Temple is of lord shiva. There is also one open mandapam present here whose ceiling is open. If you are a devotee of lord shiva you should visit this temple. Parking space is also present here. It's very close to Sinnar bus station so you can come here with public transport. It's 30km from nashik city.
Such a beautiful temple. I don't understand why it is being not maintained properly. Even after the ruins, it still carries its beauty. The moment we entered into the temple, we felt those vibes.
Absolutely beautiful temple standing right from the time of Ramayana. Well preserved temple with presence of godly feeling. Crowd free and remotely located. You can visit and pray in front of shivling unlike other temples opened for business.Must visit for all. Once in life time experience.

The thousand year old temple is build in the panchayatna style. The primary temple is surrounded by fours smaller temples featuring shrines of Surya, Vishnu, Parvati and Ganesh. The carvings on the temple are intricate and are worthy a careful observation. Some carvings depict events from different mythological narratives. For a curious eye, this temple is worth spending time on.
Wonderful architecture. If you're on nashik route, shouldn't miss this marvellous beauty. When I visited this, felt that this temple really needs some attention. I will definitely visit Gondeshwar temple again.
The Gondeshwar Temple is an 11th-12th century Hindu temple located in Sinnar, a town in the Nashik district of Maharashtra, India. It features a panchayatana plan; with a main shrine dedicated to Shiva; and four subsidiary shrines dedicated to Surya, Vishnu, Parvati, and Ganesha. One of the best lord Shiva temple in Maharashtra
