Amazing and very peaceful place/ lake. Cleanliness is maintained well.. In vadtal, it is situated on opposite of swaminarayan temple. It has its own pleasent view. The structure around the lake compromise of stepwell with small amazing micro sculptures. Its been a good place of photography. Mind soothing view inspire you to sit there for a long time. You can have a walk around the lake.
Gimti lake is too old time & hitirical place lord swaminarayana is daily swiming here, All swami divotees are daily pary here& swiming here, Inside Vadtal, the importance of Gomti lake is as much as the river Ganges because Lord Swaminarayan took a bath inside the lake,The sanctity of Vadtal Swaminarayan Dham lies only on Gomti Lake. jai swaminarayan........

It is a square artificial lake with a beautiful design and a healthy surrounding. Place is good to hang out with friends and family. The cleanliness of the place is somewhat miserable but still you car chill there out as it has very good sitting wall and also steps so that you could get near to the water safely. There is small garden or park next to the lake with some play things for kids. This is surely the place you would choose to sit for a beautiful evening or a sunset!
