Golden Temple - Buddhist temple in Varanasi, Khajuhi - Varanasi, India

A very quiet place. When I went there, I hardly saw any tourists. but later two people came, we went inside. On entering I felt china vibes because of the monument design. I have only seen it on Tvs so It was quite surprising for me. Inside the monument It has a giant Buddha statue. Monks were worshipping when we visited . You won't believe it the place is in Galis, At the beginning I had a hard time finding it but thanks to gmap.

The temple is so less known in Sarnath that it hardly gets any tourists. Even locals of Varanasi don't know about this temple. But it is one of the most beautiful Buddhist temple I've ever seen. Because there are no tourists, this place is very serene. Be respectful and obey the rules (like no photography inside the temple, but you could click pictures in the compound). It is located in the village behind the main Sarnath Chauraha. Just follow Google Maps and you'll reach here. It's not open to visitors all day long so you'll have to make sure about the time. We visited in the morning around 10am. PS: Dalai Lama visited this place.

Sach a beautiful view and it's peaceful

A bit inside the village street, so not very crowded, very peaceful and serene ambiance, the architecture is great, one of the largest Budhist temple in the state of Uttar Pradesh, beautifully built, inside the temple u will have the unearthly feeling, its great, if u go to Varanasi and planning a visit to Sarnath definitely come here

All monk of this monastery are very excited and curious to learn new things and especially their own philosophy which guided to the way of truth.

A lesser known place in Sarnath. Abode of Dalai Lama when he visits India. People normally don't visit here, but a must see place. Very neat and clean and marvellously built.

Awesome place. Even many locals of Sarnath didn't know of this beautiful place. Situation inside a village, this has a beautiful statue of Lord Buddha in sitting position
