We stayed for two nights at this place! It's nothing special, but a decent place! The stuff is friendly and helpful! Also flexible about the check out! We had no problems during our stay! The rooms were clean and breakfast was included, which you can have on the rooftop. The roof is a nice escape with view on the Ganges! I would recommend this place! The location is pretty nice next to Ganges!

I couldn't ask for a better location or level of friendliness. Everything functioned well, and the staff was so acomodating and helpful. I was able to speak to them to tailor my day tours or half-day trips, based on my needs. The view of the river is lovely, but not as lovely as the people working there. This is an extremely good value for the money. Also it is very quiet even though it is in the oldest part of town and the ghats. Nearest ghat is Shivala Ghat.
Overall great experience. Arrived at 4am and they let us stay in a room for half the price. The staff were accomodating. Helped us with the Ganges boat tour and showed us around Varanasi. The rooms were cleaner than the Indian standards. Near local restaurants. Stayed 2 nights and would stay here again. The breakfast was good.
Overall had a nice and pleasant stay with family. Situated near the Shivala Ghat, this property has all the amenities mentioned at the time of booking. The staff was polite and very helpful and served with a smile. They arranged nice food and also provided nice transfer to and from Varanasi Junction. Also, they had arranged a nice tour with Rajkumar who made the entire tour of Varanasi a very memorable one. Would recomment this place!

Excellent Guest house, located near the Gaths while being quiet in a neighborhood that already allows you to appreciate the daily life of its inhabitants. You will appreciate the quality of the reception of the owner and his team always available and very good advice. The rooms are very clean and equipped with the essentials needed by a person who wishes to live simply. I enjoyed my stay so much that I intend to stay at the same guest again during my next stay.little extra, you can eat on site if you wish, breakfasts and meals are made on site I highly recommend the Golden River. The service was very friendly, they helped us with everything we needed, they even helped us manage a sim card. In addition, one of us is celiac, and they took care to give us gluten-free breakfast and dinner. The area is calmer than the center. If I came back, I will repeat again for sure. Pankaj and all the staff is cool!!
