Golden Nest lodge & PG - Lodge in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

First of all, its not a PG its kinda Lodge. I will try to narrate the story in brief that I have experienced during the past months (Jun-Aug '23 summer internship in IISc). First of all the services: * One washing machie at rooftop which is kinda useable * Wifi which do not work at all sometimes * cleanlines Once a day in a week in Sunday they will come and clean your bathroom and room ##Now coming to the landlord, in the iitaildays you will feel like he is very humble, social and a gentle man. He will ask you to pay the advace of 2000 off which he will assure you that he will return 1000. But as soon as you leave the PG he will start making diffrent excuse and will not retur your security money. ot only me I found later that there are other many reviews that claim the same. I do not want the same thing to repeate with any other middle class family student like me. Be sure to keep the deal written on a paper and signed by him or otherwise choose some other good PGs near that area there are plenty. Dont get lured by the low price it offers. signing off.

PG is located at a very good place, food is not available in the PG but rooms are very good and well maintained.

Guys I just moved out from this place . Management is worse than any pg , don't be fooled by their price , owner and manager don't behave properly, didn't gave my advance back , rooms are very small like matchbox , no ventilation , no water , and it has a lot of insects inside it , and if things get stolen they will not give it back , and their camera and security is very bad , building is under construction and they are filling people inside . According to me if you want to go then go for some other pg . Hope this help you .

Compared to other PG's in the area, this PG lacks a lot of services. Few points in support of above: 1. No solar heater or geyser, in the room. 2. One Wi-Fi router for a 3 floor PG. Which practically meant no internet connectivity. 3. No washing machine in PG. 4. The storage space is pathetic. There is just one box like structure. 5. Water availability is intermittent. Besides all this, there are no proper terms and conditions. They'll tell you some charges before taking the room, but all of sudden those charges will increase due to an undisclosed PG policy. The manager, along with the owner try to do shady business using above strategy. All in all, I would recommend to stay away from this PG as there are better options available for the same price.

If you are looking for a place to stay without having to burn a hole in your pocket, this place is recommended. Expectedly, keep yourself open to adjustments. Double/single bed rooms are available ,a wall mounted table, double door cupboard, and attached bath with bucket, western toilet/water closet and shower is made available. Fan and a.c. is also available. But now even in the month of May, you might not feel the need to use an air-conditioner. There's lift to go up and down the building as well as flight of stairs. No arrangement of bedsheet nor towel is provided by the hotel. Do not expect quality hospitality. Fooding is not provided however there are plenty of options available in the locality, which if not excellent is but doable considering. Local flavours and cooking style influence the genuine taste of the North Indian food cuisine. Flavours of North is a good dhaba style eatery located not fat away, as well as Thalessery cafe serves good chai/tea at just INR 10 and snacks to pair up with, priced reasonably at 20, 30 INR. If you are in search for south Indian food or local food one would face no challenge at all owing to its abundance. There are plenty of options available. Nearby, possibly within 150 meters or so is Reliance fresh departmental store. Pharmacy and Hospital is within 50 meters.

Room are decently spacious, wifi present, water and electricity always present, great value for money compared to others. But, room cleaning service is not properly nor regularly done.

It is a good place to stay, eateries are available nearby. Only disadvantage is room cleaning service is not included. One has to make own arrangement.

Rooms are good. Hot water is available till afternoon.Manager is very polite and helpful. The best stay in Mathikere Bangalore if you are a batch of girls and boys.
