Rooms are Ok, not too fancy. Owner is a chill person, no problems at all. Breakfast of Masala Dosa was awesome. Budget friendly stay. Location is superb.

Just wonderful experience..if you just enjoy nature, Hut style rooms..clean and neat place.all essential services are provided by the owner. Provides good guidance to tourists..Food is good. Homely prepared. Hot water is available 24 hrs. Blankets are also provided. Just besides Shri Virupaksha temple and very beautiful river scenery...

The location of the homestay is very nice. It's hardly 10 min walk to Virupaksha temple. The rooms are basically huts created with wood and surrounding banana farm will give you true natural feeling. The best thing about this place is the owner behavior and food. The food was sooo awesome. Dosa as breakfast is highly recommended. I sincerely thank Mr. Mahesh for wonderful Hampi experience and stay!!!

Paying 1200 per day for this place is simply a big loss considering the below Firstly, the huts they provide are all broken. Second, there are really huge reptiles which I'm guessing is the mountain lizards (that's the first time we saw such creatures!) in the bathrooms. Third, the bathrooms walls all have holes, and it has got open nets, also the holes in the wall opens to the next room bathroom, not at all safe. Fourth, the floors and even the bathroom floors are all broken and they've placed big stones on them, very risky to stay there since snakes or any creatures can enter. Fifth, the roof of the huts inside are covered with plastic/cloth kinda material and it was bulging at many areas, also at night before sleep we saw movements which could be snakes or rats, not sure though! Sixth, each room is so connected to one another that even a person murmuring in the other room is clearly audible. Seventh, completely lacks hygiene.. the bathrooms, the commode, buckets, mug, wash area sink, walls are all filled with dirt. The bathroom floors are so broken that it's not in a condition to be cleaned! The pipes are all blocked with dirt that the water hardly comes out of them.. Eight, even after so many struggles to stay there for two days, even after paying 1200 per night for such rooms, the owner charges extra for breakfast as well!! Nothing Golden about this place..! Would never recommend!

The most beautiful part of our stay at Hampi is residing at Golden Garden. What a place...! If you love to be in between nature, then this is the place. Go for it without any doubt. Rooms, food, location, host, trees, etc are wonderful here. Thank you to the host and family for making our stay beautiful.

With very little option to stay in Hampi, this on the banks of Tungabhadra, is just awesome place to unwind. By any means the huts are not bad, but can be improved. However, the location and especially the hospitality of Mr. Mahesh will make you the forget about the could be improved aspects of inside of the huts. The location is just 5 mins walk from Virupaksha temple

Host is welcoming and warm. Food is decent. Rooms are not comfortable to stay in as it is a makeshift tent with a thatched roof. It offers minimal necessities- no tables, bathrooms have uneven surface and are EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE, doors don't lock. Walls are made of cloth- it gets very cold at night, and you can hear everything from the other rooms and vice versa.

One of the best place to stay in Hampi. Although it is bit far from main location of other homestay . however it's worth to stay Thier as you will be feel living in jungle. Tress planted around your house are owsam.. place is clean and very well maintained. However I still believe improvement can be done to attract more customers .. for example rooms can be more decorative... Needs the improve the food test .. quality and quantity is good. Also the staff( Mahesh the owner itself) is really polite and helpful .. for any help kind help you can reach out to him any time
