Previously it was known as Gol Park. It was a playground for children. Now it is known as Indraprasth Community Hall (for marriage and parties.) - which costs around 35k-45k for common people. But 10k for Railway Employee. It's an excellent hall. A little bit cleanliness is required in the surrounding areas i.e New Loco Railway Colony, Chandua Chhittupur.

The location is pristinely kept. Away from the city's bustling noise, the atmosphere here is very calm. It also has a scenic view to the namo ghat and the Ganges. On the opposite side, there are the excavated remains of rajgat.
I think it's one of the most attractive and beautiful park in Varanasi. Its more or less like a jungle with with eucalyptus tress and jogging route in between the trees .
Even if are late in morning you won't feel much sunlight here as it's so dense.
