Recently stayed in this hotel. Below are what I felt as Pros & Cons Pros 1. Friendly Front Office. Manikandan(front office in charge) really helpful 2. Competitive Pricing Cons 1. Location - It's ~ 2 Kms away from Kumbakonam Bus stand. Patrons resorting to public transport may find this difficult 2. No Parking space - For those planning to checkin with Cars, parking can be an issue 3. Cleanliness - Average, but definitely space for improvements 4. No in-house restaurant - however there are couple of average eateries available in near by vicinity This hotel is best suited for solo travelers for over night stay.
Okayish to stay for a day or two. Book only if you have work in Kumbakonam. If booking for visit to Swami Malai then its pretty far from the temple (11KMs). No proper parking facility is available for vehicle's. Room's are good in the price range.
Within 2 km from main bustand, bus stop 100mts. Near by Good Restaurant Sankar cafe traditional vegetarian hotels from last 30 years old and Aarya bhavan nearby. Easily access to all temples. Budget hotel for families. Safe stay.
