Gokulam Park Munnar - Hotel in Munnar, Chithirapuram - Idukki, India

My family and I spent two nights at this place. There was an excellent view from the balcony. The service was prompt and the rooms were tidy. Gokulam's staff is incredibly cordial and fast to reply to inquiries and requests for assistance. The food at breakfast and supper was excellent, and Chef Deepak Negi provided excellent service at the buffet, making sure we had a great time and thoroughly savored our meals. Personally, I would advise anyone visiting Munnar to go to Gokulam.

Very good rooms,maintained neat and clean, Staffs are very friendly and very helpfull. Food is awesome, breakfast have variety of dishes. Staff's inside the reastaurant very smart and their behaviour is very nice. Especially Anagha treats us very well. We can suggests our friends and families.

Great place to stay in Munnar with an amazing view of hills, tea plantation, forest. A nice, quiet and peaceful place in between of nature. The hotel has a games room for some entertainment and an open sitting area with mesmerizing view. The rooms are luxurious and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Was such a wonderful stay at Gokulam park. The main attraction here I felt us their service. People over here welcome you with such a good smile and they serve you really well. Especially Anagha and Mamitha who were always there to cater our needs. Since we were travelling with a baby, we were so skeptical about the food for him - but they made sure of preparing hot food for him very quickly. And the rooms were also above average. Roads to this resort are very much conformable to drive.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my vacation. Has basement floors and floors above ground level. Parking is restricted though. The view from the room is breathtaking depending on the location though. Curtains were not properly blinding the light which is the only disadvantage I could tell. live counter in the evening is a must to enjoy nature and tea. Complimentary breakfast was also good. Toiletries were also from a branded company. Laundry service was also good as was room service.

The hotel is just before reaching the munnar town. It's an ideal spot if you want to avoid the hassle of the town and prefer a relaxed stay and journey. If you have a car then it's easy up and down. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Parking is available. Electric car charging station is also available. Valet parking available. There are few rooms with balcony. The view from the balcony is really good. Rooms are clean and ok. Would recommend for a stay within budget. The restaurant is also good. The food was really good.

Dining Experience: Average Dinner, Good Breakfast The hotel's dining offerings were a bit of a mixed bag. While the breakfast was a delightful experience with a variety of options to choose from, the dinner was rather average. The breakfast spread offered an array of dishes to suit different palates, and the quality was commendable. Exceptional Staff One aspect that truly stood out during my stay was the staff. The team at Gokulam Park Hotel was amazing and remarkably courteous. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone went out of their way to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Their warm hospitality added a special touch to my visit. Aging Furniture and Renovation Needs One noticeable aspect of the hotel was the aging furniture. The interior decor and furniture appeared dated, and it was evident that the hotel was due for some renovations. A fresh and modern touch would certainly enhance the overall ambience and comfort of the rooms and common areas. Underwhelming Views Unfortunately, the views from the hotel were not as impressive as I had hoped. The surroundings did not provide much to admire, which was a slight disappointment considering the hotel's central location. Hot Water Woes One major hiccup during my stay was the lack of hot water in the morning. This was quite inconvenient, especially when trying to prepare for the day ahead

The hotel room and bathroom needs a bit more refurbishment and maintenance work. It a fusty and frowsty smell and my tour guide tells me the damp hillside ambience sometimes causes this. It looks clean but just doesn't seem pleasant. Was feeling paranoid of linen cleanliness but it was alright and had a good nights rest. Hot water shower supply was just lukewarm for me but family and friends said it was okay. No hand shower and only rain shower and pail provided. Breakfast buffet was very good mix of local and western. The view from the restaurant was awesome too.
