Inside pongam petrol pump good for tourists bus lunch time A highway side restaurant with a spacious parking area and quick service. It's a regular stop for interstate bus services for dinner break. Rates are reasonable, ambience is very normal and needs improvement on cleanliness. Had dinner from here during a bus journey to Bangalore, it's a common place where a lot of Bangalore bound buses from Kerala stop. It is a vegetarian restaurant so i had paneer and chappatti and the food was freshly prepared and delicious. The price wasn't high and the service was fast. The hotel staff were polite and the hotel is really spacious Close to fuel station, easy to spot boards, close to cafe coffee day, not hard to miss spot. Realised after stopping here that its a pit stop for most travel buses, so had the same expectations while going in. Service was a below par, had to get a order taken, even for getting a glass of hot water. Ordered ghee roast Dosa, batter was a bit more fermented that I would have like on a ghee roast, the quantities on the side dish like sambar and chutney was very less, and I did not get a refill even after requesting for some. The location in itself is not bad, has restroom available as well.

Most of the travel buses from kochi to Bangalore and Chennai will stop here for dinner. There was a huge crowd and no place to sit. We ordered the food by standing and finally got a place to have our food. we ordered fried rice and masla dosa. Dosa is like a roasted paper and fried rice not cooked properly and i asked for curd rice and other two items from the menu, no use they will serve the food which will cook fast. But taste is not good. I recommend people to pack their own food

Spacious, reasonably priced veg restaurant with ample car parking space. I've been here couple of times for breakfast and lunch. I noticed a remarkable improvement in the service and taste of food. It is much better than how it was few months ago. The manager was very friendly and all staff were pleasant to deal with. I loved all the food items that i had ordered. All should definitely try this place.

I didn't like the ghee roast and masala dosha, poori masala was ok.

Utter failure this rest stop. Our bus murahara stopped here for dinner and had sat in this restaurant for more than 15 minutes and nobody even cared to take the order. And we decided not to have food from here. If they are not cared about taking the order then I can imagine how they will be handling the food provided.

The prices of the food and drinks were very reasonable, which was an added bonus. The restaurant has a large parking space available, which was great because it meant that I didn't have to worry about finding a spot to park my car. The ambiance of the restaurant was also excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive to our needs. The seating was comfortable, and the restaurant was well-lit and well-ventilated. Overall, I would highly recommend Gokulam Nandana Pure Veg Restaurant to anyone who is looking for a great place to stop and eat during their long drives. The food is outstanding, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is perfect. The fact that it's located inside the compound of Indian Oil Petrol Pump makes it very convenient for travellers.
