Gokul Restaurant - Vegetarian restaurant in Hubballi - Dharwad, India

I was a regular customer for this restaurants. Now a days quality and quantity of food is very low. Prices are too costly with very less quality. Last time I have order dal fry but instead of dal,maximum was red chilly. It was looking like chilly fry so pathetic. After informing to staff in AC, Supplier didn't take it seriously. Check the image. In that small bowl, half of bowl was filled with chilly. I suggest avoid going to this restaurant.

Pure Veg. Tasty and quality food at a reasonable cost. Located opposite to the New bus stand. Good ambience and good service. Good manager. Dal kichidi with pickle, Pot biryani and Fruit salad are must try.

Cons : 1)Cold coffee/Tea 2)Oily dosa- No texture, super thin. 3)Arrogant order taking + service just dump and go 4)Super stressful environment- staff ratio might be low 5)Sambhar and Chutney taste is very poor. 6)Soggy Vada. Disaster breakfast this morning - spent about 1000Rs but not worth at all Pro : 1)Positive is atmosphere and air conditioning 2)Parking 3)Location 4)Heard northindian dishes are good- but will try and update review later.

I recently visited Gokul restaurant, located directly opposite the government bus stand, and had a mixed experience. The restaurant offers food round the clock, providing convenience to customers seeking a meal at any hour. The masala dosa at Gokul was delightful, striking a balance between taste and affordability. However, the paper masala dosa, while delicious, seemed overpriced. Additionally, the Gobi fried rice was satisfactory, but the cost did not align with the quality. It's worth noting that the pricing structure appears to carry a significant markup, giving the impression that the restaurant maintains a substantial profit margin on their food items. Moreover, I observed that the staff actively encouraged customers to opt for the AC room, possibly to increase the overall bill. In conclusion, Gokul restaurant opposite the government bus stand offers a variety of food options available at all times, but be mindful of potential pricing disparities and the suggestion to move to the AC room for potential upcharges.

BEST experience I ever had in a restaurant. Gokul has Set a New standard in Excellence of Service in my book. Two weeks back I was in Karnataka on a work trip and visited this place on the recommendation of my friend. As a Hearing Impaired and Non Verbal (Deaf and Mute) person I often face many many Unique challenges whenever I try to communicate with anyone others usually businesses . I have travelled all over the world but I have never been treated such grace, humility and care like the Main guy at this place Mr. Ravi. He not only recognized I was hearing impaired but he talked to me in Indian Sign Language as if I was just a normal person he is talking to. He did not look at me as if he is feeling sorry or sympathy for my impairment. He made me feel I belonged here which happens very rarely. My friend who recommended this restaurant who was also a deaf person had mentioned this guy to me. I wish I lived in this city with amazing people like this. I highly recommend supporting the businesses of kind people like Mr. Ravi .Its much needed in this inhumane cold world we live in.

Loved the Food here!! Even though the staff don't know proper Hindi they understood the order, some know little English.

Worst service! No respect for customer time! I have been visiting this restaurant with family from 10+ years but now that the service quality has gone worst. I have been complaining their authorities but no action taken since they are making money. I advice DON'T VISIT, you have better option in Hubli.

The food served here is very slow and taste is was okay. And don't ask for lime juice they will grind the lime where other fruit juice was done , u might get the taste of that fruit (I got watermelon flavour).
