This was my first trek so I was pleasantly surprised. Saravanan took us along with Shankar on the day of the trek. Both of them made sure that we followed the rules, took care of us from a safety perspective, very patient in listening to us, there was a whole gang of family and kids and I could see them patiently attending to them esp. while climbing big hills. The views from the hills were to die for. Despite being occupied with 3 families and at least 6 kids in the trek group, he made sure to have a conversation with solo travellers like me. Overall absolutely fantastic trek and great value for money.
One of the best off beat trekking that i have been to...friendly and cooperative staffs...very nominal pricing...we were a group of 17...they took individual care of each one of us...highly recommend. Flexible in terms of customisation...they have half day and full day trek. Special mention to Ashok and Saravanan who accompanied us... definitely coming back to you guys...
Dear All, My experience about Trekking with #GoKotagiri I never thought about this kind of trip. Because of my wife's wish, we planned for such a trip. We went as a two couples, later we joined as a team with few other people. The trekking in the forest and hiking in tea estate is a fantastic experience. Sighting a wild Gaur in tea estate is a thrill. We booked a one day trekking, they took us to Catherine water falls and to secret pond. The water is ice cold and worth moment, we enjoyed it. The view points and hill climbing will be a lifetime memories. kudos to Gokul and Sajath...!!!! they are the people behind the great experience, they will take care of you. Plan a night stay in tent, it's safe and all basic facilities are available there. Without any hesitation you can plan with your partner. Food they provide is so yummy. Tips: 1. Check weather condition, u can ask them itself. 2. Wear long socks and shoes must. 3. Carry a backpack with water bottle and towel (because u will take a bath) That's all guys...... stop reading and start planning for a great trekking experience...:) #GoKotagiri
Attended a short day trek that was guided by Gokul and Regan. It was organized very well, we walked through a tea plantation to arrive at a waterfall nestled away from civilization followed by a home cooked lunch. Both guides were very attentive and made sure we had the best experience possible!
Worst coordination and rude driver. They are money minded and wouldn't refer families who want to enjoy their trip with family. They will charge for guide fee, parking and take you to useless local tea factory, chocolate and eucalyptus oil shops who force you to buy stuffs. Not recommended for decent families and bachelors too.
The trip was amazing I have been waiting for this trip for a long time and wanted to have a great experience. They have a very friendly and amazing crew. They conducted the trip very well and yet in a fun way. I'll split my review into three parts. Stay:- I have been to other treks also but never seen such nice arrangement, lovely view from ur tent . Tent was clean , they provided us extra blankets and pillows too. I would give them 5/5 for Food:- usually you don't get good food when you are trekking but I really like the sambhar one of the best sambhar i had in my life . Still they need to add more options for vegetarians. 4/5 for the food. Overall trekking and trip experience:- The best part about our trekking was they gave us enough time to explore and capture the place in pictures. And they themselves took the initiative of clicking our unlimited no. pictures . And in addition to trekking they took us to strawberry farm and let us have the fresh organic strawberries and give us a wonderful jeep ride. And on our way back to campsite he introduced us to his family also his mother was soo sweet and made us tea and snacks we felt like a part of them and the day ended with bonfire and by all of us doing their traditional dance . Day-2 we went to catherine waterfall although we were all so scared to go into the falls but because they took the initiative 1st and went into that chilling water and then we all decided to go into the water and took a waterfall shower(got natural massage by standing under the waterfall-thanks sajith for that ) and believe me its one of best shower u will ever have.
One of the best trips I have had in South India. We, as a group of 10 people did a 3 days round trip plan from Chennai to Kotagiri on the GoKotagiri Tourism. We were pleasantly surprised after visiting camping site, as there is lot of greenery everywhere with clean air. It has a beautiful view of hills, front of which was a tent set up. The amenities at the site are simple, but are very clean and well maintained. The toilets, shower area are kept clean at all times. The dining area is well maintained and the food served there is 'Delicious and HOT' which makes you feel like home. They get all fresh veggies and stuff from "GoKotagiri Fresh" which is the Nilgiris largest online ordering platform. Gokul (Founder) has helped us with everything from pick up till dropping. Special mention to Sajith and Adhish who took really good care of us. They are very caring, decent, and friendly which made us even more comfortable. Great hospitality! This is truly an amazing adventurous package. Highly highly recommend experiencing this. Me along with my friends had a fantastic experience - memories of which we will cherish for lifetime. We would definitely want to travel again. Kudos to team GoKotagiri and my heartiest wishes for their super successful times ahead.
Thrill ,Frency & Exhausting :) It was my 3rd trek, was exited & Nervous . It was around one hour to two hour trek . But when I start ,I think it's very easy to complete the trek becos my trek leader Gokul and Shajith both said it's very easy bro small trek just 3 kms only After I started both pupils give many surprises in trek in one stage I got cramp On right right leg I can't walk I loose my confidence but gokul and Shajith motive to finish the trek really the trekking point is very difficult but one stage I said I can't do bro but he guide me and take care to finish trek very easily . Once I finished the trek .I feel very happy .this is my best experience in my life .I never forget the trip so guys don't miss Catherine Falls trek and secret pond spl thanks to Gokul and Shajith the way you guide the really very impressed hope soon will plan for the next trek dude Unforgettable moments ur jeep Vera level bro 52 years old But proved old is gold

They produce the best tea with different varieties of flavourful tea. There are more than 8 or 9 flavours to give us a new experience to the tea world. Tea lovers would have a great experience for sure . The aroma of the tea powder keeps us to enjoy
A beautiful and cozy cafe in Kotagiri. The food was just too good! And the desserts and hot chocolate were lip smacking. The couple who runs the place were too sweet and hosted us like their own kids. Definitely would recommend 5/5 !

Best place to stay in Kotagiri for a relaxing experience. The caretaker Mr. Graden is exceptionally good at tending to the guests and I should say we got more than we asked for everytime. The food is delicious and our favourite was the chicken roast!
