Gokarna Tent Stays - Campground in Kagal - Uttara Kannada, India

Absolute waste of money. Gokarna is an awesome place to visit, no words for that. But this package is not worth. They don't take care of the visitors properly. One of my friend got injured on the beach and was bleeding. There was no one from the team even to contact. They don't have the basic first aid kit. Another person from other gang got unconscious due to weakness. Again this team didn't had a single fruit or juice to feed her.

If you enjoy staying on beach then its definitely for you. Place is beautiful. Clean and blue water. Isolated from pollution. Calm night with sky full of stars. There are many activities which they organise but snorkelling is definitely WASTE. Food provided by them was NOT at all good. I ll suggest to carry your own food. No good facility of washroom. Not even close to value for money.

Best place to hangout with Family and Friends

Very worst experience. No proper planning and organising. Food is very limited and not tasty. Feeling price is more for this accommodation. The pictures what they are showing n sending are different from real. Please don't trust these people and go to trip. For that accomodation 2500 is more. All lies only they are telling.

Awesome place, it's very private. It was the best trip and we really enjoyed and chilled out. Anand and his team was very friendly and caring. Must visited place with friends.

Gokarna was one of my best trips only because of Gokarna tent stays.Anand and his team were very hospitable, friendly and very welcoming. We enjoyed bonfire, delicious food ,camps on the she shore..it was all good...We actually made good friend here..

We decide to go on a trip to Gokarna, I spoke to a friend coz he's from a neighboring place he sent me a flyer of Vkation troop which was a channel for the mesmerizing day long island stay... I am glad we happened to meet this "Team" pioneered by Nagaraj, Chidhanand, Anushree, Sumanth, their cook n 3 other guys to help on the boat. We were guided with excellent navigation to the pickup location when we reached, We were welcomed on the boat with a BIG smile and warmth which in itself made us comfortable. Neatly planned activities took over even before we could realize the begin. Nagaraj breifed us on the Dos and Donts very crips and very important... Next thing was my Favorite which I loved the most watching people dive into the sea, I should tell u most of us on this trip were non-swimmers but trust me with the confidence Nagaraj gave and the safety measures they used everybody jumped into the beautiful clear water thrilling experience they called it... Nagaraj took care of every person and made sure everybody would feel comfortable and enjoy their dive believe me there were first timers too who enjoyed their dive... A good 30 to 45 mins swim the best thing with this troop is they dont push or hurry up for everything.. After swimming we enjoyed Snorkeling kids loved seeing some under water life.... Row... Row..Row roared while Kayaking which was the next game to add, for people like me there was frisbee and volleyball which we enjoyed... Soon we went changed did some click clicks by then it was dinner time.. Came back to the shore for a time of camp fire and enjoyed playing antakshari and other interesting games had dinner danced around the fire from the youngest to the oldest loved this experience... Nice hot dinner was servered on the cold beach... It was more than sufficient for everybody we were served till our tummies were happy. I should mention what Chidanand told "Neevu eelli oota madidre nam manel maddhange he said" meaning if you eat here with us its like eating at our home loved their hospitality... After dinner we all sat around fire and talking so much and enjoying our campany... Nagaraj made sure our sleeping tents and bags were all in place and made everybody comfortable in their tents... I should mention the tents n the sleeping bags were so clean and so well maintained we all slept like being at home... Wokeup to a great experience of mist and fog with cool clear breeze which embraced us on the shore...loved this experience very soon we took off for a trek to a near by cave Chidanand escorted us to the place which was adventerous and educative.... Had soooo much of our time... When we returned went on a dolphin watch while having breakfast... We were lucky to see few dolphin playing in the water...this also alarmed that we were coming to the end of our wonderful memorable day's experience... Din't want to return but had to... So we did exchange smiles exchange contacts thanking and shouting out for Nagaraj whoz really made this possible for people who wants to getway from Mobile, computer, honcks, meetings, codings and be in the arms of nature... Nagaraj and team a big shout out to you guys for such wonderful experience all of us had a wonderful time.. you have truly made this last for life long... My kids have started asking when are we going again ! This is the impact...I could only smile and told them we will we will...

Pros: Good staff, took a good care of the people. Cons: Large list of cons, No toilets. No good food, I'd suggest to carry your own food or forget eating during your stay. Nothg good with Snorkeling. There's nothg mysterious about Mystery caves. No DJ night. Its good only for those who want to get disconnected from their world for few hours. Plz note to go with the large group else you'll find this a lame experience. First timers at the beach would njoy this trip.
