Gokarna International Beach Resort - Resort hotel in Gokarna - Uttara Kannada, India

Ok rooms nothing fancy, but location is perfect and staff is super genuine. They also arranged fresh towels for all of us, we were in two rooms facing the beach. Also keep in mind you have to walk through a small lane to reach the resort, this will get tricky if you have heavy luggage. In our case they sent a porter so it worked out. Overall we recommend this place.

The only best part of this place is its location as it's just in front of the kudle beach. The restaurant gives quite good food. The ac cottage seemed quite good from outside. But non ac rooms are very bad.. no hygiene, no cleanliness, not at all maintained.. our switch boards were broken but good part is we didn't get a shock.. the room is filled with damp smell. Sheets, towels provided are in very bad condition. Better to carry your own as you'll definitely get acne out of it. Shower gives only hot water.. tap gives only cold water. Another level of physics is required to take bath.

Had a horrible experience. Ruined my family trip. The rooms are dirty. The curtains, bedsheet, pillow covers were soiled. The furniture is also not in good shape. The bathrooms are pathetic. Moreover, the staff of the hotel does not seem to care enough to address our issues. Never make the mistake of booking this hotel.

Really an awesome stay near the beach. Also, the service was really good and the price was fairly good. They have a pool as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is located right on Kudle Beach, and we had an amazing view from our sea facing room. The restaurant attached to the hotel serves palatable food, the entire place is kept clean, the staff are very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a lovely ayurvedic massage on the property itself and the swimming pool was a bonus. There are cafes along the beach offering some very good food, or you could travel to Om Beach or the Main beach for other food options. But there are few cons, which need to be considered. There is one long flight of stairs from the main road to the beach and this is the only reasonable access. This will be difficult for elderly people, disabled people and pregnant women. If you travel by your own vehicle, make sure not to park in the public parking space at the top of the stairs, as vandals will either slit your bike seat cover or scratch your car. Get ready for digital detox too, as the rooms don't have television and network connectivity is sometimes sketchy. But if you are looking for decent clean rooms and some time to peacefully commune with nature, you could give this place a try.

Rooms were okay. It's right on the beach and so you will get a great view and beach vibe. Difficult to reach the resort, especially if you have more luggage. Parking is a little far from the resort (a few metres only but need to climb steps, the other parking which is nearer takes parking fee). Restaurant food was not so good. Service is great in the resort.

Only good about this property is location. It is located just beside the Kudle beach. So you can seat and enjoy the sea. Cons are as below - 1. Dirty rooms and bathrooms. It was not cleaned before handing over to guest. 2. No proper hot water provision. If you ask for hot water they ll start the hot water but all the taps including toilet gun will have burning hot water, which can cause serious injury. 3. Curtains are not washed ever. If you touch it, oily dirt will stick in your hand 4. Bedsheets and pillow covers are dirty, not properly cleaned 5. Zero maintenance - all the furnitures are maybe getting used for more than 15 years, so you can imagine the condition 6. centipedes are coming inside rooms, so surroundings of the rooms are also not maintained. 7. No privacy as the curtains are not proper I won't recommend anyone to stay here. I would like to give -5 star to this hotel for this horrible experience. To hotel management - if you are reading this review, please take cleanliness seriously and renovation is urgently needed. You can increase the room rent if required.

The location is good, no doubt. But it's not good for families. They are threatening people. Third class quality rooms. Cockroaches are everywhere. Very old room. Cigarettes smell is always there. No good vibes. Not recommend at all. It's not worth it at all. Shame on all staff and managers who don't have manners to talk with people's. Don't threaten people who are ur customers. Bcoz of them, u will get money.
