Nice falls.. visited there 2023 august.. scenic landscape. Greeneries sorroundings, old British era structure s and that hanging bridge overhas made it unique
The cliff is nestled in a picturesque gorge of the Gokak Valley. A prime attraction of the Gokak Falls is the hanging 200-m-long bridge that lies 14 m above the bedrock. The Gokak Falls also holds immense historical significance as it was here that electricity was first generated in India, in 1887. The Ghataprabha River in Belagavi district of Karnataka, India. The waterfall is six and a half kilometers away from Gokak town. "Except in width and colour of the water, the general features of the fall, its height, shape and rapidity above are much like those of Niagara". The falls are horse-shoe shaped at the crest, with a flood breadth of 177 metres. June to September is the best season to visit Gokak as it bees in full bloom.

Excellent view of majestic Waterfalls amidst greenery with Awesome ambience..It is a great freak out with family and friends..
No entry to hanging bridge.... No entry to walten rock to enchant view of falls.... Not anymore a falls place....! Better go directly to Godachinmalki and enjoy water ,falls and you can play in water too .....!
This place is much better than the one near parking to watch the water fall. There is one steep cliff to watch but you need to cross a small bridge to reach. Be careful while on the cliff since the security barricades are broken. The view from this point is spectacular and picturesque. There are also some pavilions built in the name of mills employees where you can sit and enjoy with family and friends. There is also a small path way to have another view of the falls.
The most beautiful and unique waterfall one can visit.
Nice place. Couldn't see the real view due to less rainfall.
The very beautiful falls I recently visited left me in awe of nature's splendor. The cascading water, surrounded by lush greenery, created a breathtaking scene. The sound of the rushing water was both soothing and exhilarating. It's a must-visit for
