Gogarbha Cave - Hindu temple in Gokarna - Uttara Kannada, India

Lesser known temple near kudle Beach.. Road is not in good condition. Better to visit this place if u have your own or rented vehicle. U need to walk around 50mts to reach the cave and get down 3 stairs and proceed inside the cave which is bit dark n soon you can see a small temple . It's littered inside which is a sad thing. Few bats ll be flying around but nothing to get panic. Avoid this space if you have toddler or aged people within group.

Magical place with crazy energy, this beautiful light and a small shrine inside. In the smaller cave there are some cute little bats. There were some rugs to sit around the fireplace, but nobody was there at the time I visited.

Off beat and most underrated place in Gokarna !! Not sure why it hasn't given popularity , bcz it's been naturally built and shows you different level landscape. There 2 ways whichbhave a markings and sign boars: One opposite to Resort Om beach to kudle beach road and another Gokarna - Kudle beach road. It doesn't seems to be as bigger as it looks from outside but inside its spacious and people have built a small shiv temple inside this. I guess this place is suited for Maga Shiva as ts seculed, peace and calm. At the entrance it looks bit scary and you might encounter some bats but its okay. I went there inside alone on mid day and avoid visiting in rainy season as it might filled with rain water and slippery.

Cave is very small but inside you can visit the lord siva . I think inside way to other sides of cave are closed. But from outside it is bit difficult to find the cave even though it is 50 meters.

This is my personal favourite place in the whole of Gokarna. A very underrated place but a very beautiful place and inside is the temple of Mahadev. There are bats inside but they are harmless so please don't surprise them when u visit the place.

I will suggest you to not go alone. Cuz inside the cave it was really dark. From above the ground there is a hole so little light goes inside the cave . When we reached there no one was there and we were scared to enter but we entered. There was a weird smell. Going there was an adventure for us and it was astonishing that it was made inside deep in the ground .
