I recently stayed at this property, and it was an absolute nightmare. I couldn't wait to get out of there. The plumbing issues in this hotel are beyond belief. the sink in the bathroom had a problem. It drained incredibly slowly, leaving a pool of dirty water every time I used it. It was unsanitary and disgusting. I couldn't even use the sink without it becoming a health hazard. my experience was terrible, primarily due to the plumbing issues. I expect a certain level of comfort and functionality when I stay at a hotel, and this place failed miserably. I would strongly advise against booking a room here until they resolve these problems. Save yourself the headache and stay elsewhere.
I have been to Godwin Haridwar which I found to be very well maintained and great value for money. Godwin Goa is pathetic. Gloomy rooms, old furniture and bath fittings, poor breakfast spread, food tastes ordinary like you get in any Udupi restaurant. Staff is polite but service is poor. There was a party organised at property by some group that is why we didn't get whiskey glasses, desert spoons for in room dining. No bar available at the property (I respect the rules but it's inconvenient). You will find that the tea pot at the breakfast table has a layer of malai on it at 9am. Not fresh. Coffee is good though. Few good things about the property include, swimming pool n surroundings. Property location.
If you need to have peace of mind , suggest not to opt this hotel. Housekeeping is worst they never clean you room even after multiple requests. Location - not so near to any big beach Hotel Staff - they will nod for everything and do nothing. Breakfast- below average If you're bachelor and don't care it's a place for you !!

1 star deducted for poor plumbings in bathrooms. chokups happens in bath area most of the times. Also electricity cut happens sometimes and for a generator to change it takes a min which is ok. And AC gets tripped sometimes. This hotel deserves 3.5 but I'm being generous and giving 4. Only 1 time visit is fine and enough.
Hotel is in a great spot, close to famous beaches like Calangute and Baga. The rooms are clean, comfy and come with a lovely view. The staff is very kind and always ready to help. The food at the hotel's restaurant is tasty, offering local Goan dishes. You can take a refreshing swim in the hotel's pool. Markets and historic sites are near, perfect for day trips. Despite being in a busy area, the hotel is quiet and peaceful. All in all, Hotel Godwin is a top choice for a fun, relaxing stay in Goa.
Location is ideal, just few minutes walk from Candolim Beach. Hygienic food. Staff are polite. Housekeeping is ok. Rooms are big with big balconies. Plumbing needs to be improved. Shower water didn't fall evenly. Intercom was dead during my stay Sep 20-24, 2023.

It was a really good and comfortable stay. The shower fittings were easily operable by senior citizens. The pool location had a great view ensconced with greenery all around. Our balcony was overlooking a quaint little cottage with a well.
