Godavari is a home converted into a restaurant. You sit where you are asked to. I was amazed at the speed of the service. Food arrived hot and was alright - I've eaten better tasting food One must appreciate the freshness of the food as everything is made on the same day. Overall if you are looking for a quick budget friendly meal, head here The Andhra meal was normal and nothing noteworthy The prawn and chicken dishes must be had ( recommendations from friends and I am a vegetarian)

This is a cosy restaurant with homely food and ambiance. Nice and tidy. Options for dining as well as takeout is there. Visited for the first time and preferred takeaway. Food is slightly spicy. Quantity is good. Quality is OK for the price. Limited items and they don't store food it's prepared and served. No cold freezer is there. So it takes a bit of time. Overall good experience.

Godavari home theme based restaurant . Restaurant insides resemble vintage old houses of South india . The ambiance was decent and different from a regular restaurant. Had tried their podi biryani, it was ok. Chicken fry biryani tasted really good and delicious loaded with ghee and has a fried flavor in it. Must try their chicken fry biryani

Located at Lawson Bay Colony, this restaurant has gathered popularity for the authenticity of the Andhra cuisine they serve. There is no dedicated parking space. You've to find out a roadside space. The setup of the restaurant is ground floor of a house. As a result the interior is divided into small rooms instead of dining hall and which in turn gives a homely vibe. Decoration is very decent and soothing. We had mutton ghee roast, fish fry, mandakini biryani and chicken podi biryani. Mutton Roast and Fish fry was heavenly. Mandakini biryani is a bit spicier but chicken podi biryani was a bit toned down. Only thing which I personally was expecting is a bit guidance from the owner or staffs to take me through the best of their preparations to familiarise my non-telugu taste buds to the signature dishes of this coastal state. Overall verdict- definitely recommended.

It is home cooked meal you can taste and every bite feels like ghar ka khana. The food tastes amazing Chiken podi biryani is 9/10 Mutton ghee roast 9.5/10 I would really like to try something else next time . There is no parking space around that's only the problem. The ambiance feels homely i like the interior it's cost effective yet aesthetic. Most importantly the washroom are clean as well. So here's an update. We tried the mandakini biryani which was 8/10 (definitely not my taste palette) Fish fry 9/10 (yumm)

If u r missing home food then its a right place to catch it especially chicken pulav, ghee prawn roast, chicken sambar rice. If they can add any two varieties of authentic telugu sweet dishes then it will be blast for a home food lovers. And finally the atmosphere man damnnnn

Food was okayish. Meals being served in small plates are not to my liking. The place inside smells of non-veg Food. Nevertheless, wide range of non veg fry curries and biryanis available here. Can try once place. 3.5/5
