Can't explain anything about zamindar bari. I visited but the place is under restricted area. So I could not find any way to take permission from Mukharjee family.. Its my bad luck. I will go there next timw must and will take permission to visit the zamindar bari and will explore the tremendous history.
A historical palace on the banks of river Jamuna at Gobardanga. The palace was built during the reign of Zamindar Khelaram Mukhopadhyay. Currently visitors are not allowed to enter the Zamindar House, but during Durga puja, the gates of the palace remains open for visitors.
