Small and very efficient airport! Except for the washrooms, everything is good.... dirty restrooms you will not experience if you arrive at the airport as exit washrooms are good and clean. The problem is with the first floor, the washrooms next to the food court. Anyway, overall, it is good, and even your check-in baggage comes fast.. The private lounge is also good. It's very crumbled, but the food is tasty..
Goa international airport also known as Dabolim airport is situated between north and south Goa. It's a small but very beautiful airport well maintained and decorated also. Direct Flights are available for big cities of India. Al facilities and services are available. A great food court and free lounge access available for limited card holders. Taxi services also available.
Beautiful airport with a very scenic approach. The location is almost in the middle of Goa with a sea nearby. In day time you can have sea views while landing and take off. Very neat and well managed airport. Nice well managed airport. Artistic touch! Not very crowded while visited
I visited Goa for first time & this airport too, this is really strict, you are not even allowed to carry liquid more than 100ml like shampoo, facewash, etc including water. Really strict!!
Spacious, multiple stores. Many places to eat and drink. A good chocolate store. Good washrooms. Lots of seating and clean. There's times bar here. Lounge is good too. Parking is available, wheelchair accessible and facilities are there.
Heavily understaffed airport with huge processing time for bag check in, security screening and boarding / de boarding. It took them around an hour to load all bags on carousel during our arrival.
Lots of mosquitos buzzing around inside the domestic departure lounge. Not enough seats so people were sitting on the floor. Small food court, containing a KFC, Subway, and other smaller outlets. Allegedly there is free WiFi, but I couldn't get the registration process to work (you need to receive a text message). The toilets were clean and the air con worked well.
Goa's Dabolim Airport wasn't very busy during the September visit as the actual tourist season starts from October onwards. Entry and Exit are basic which missed the Goan touch. Inside there were few murals and statues depicting Goan Culture though. One important thing missing here was the Lounge for dine in. We could find only one which was also a 'Reserved Lounge'. Food outlets are many according to preference. And the most attractive thing were the huge fans for ventilation and air. We got our luggage on time without any hassle and the exit was smooth too with ample options of taxis and cabs. It is recommended to rent a car to save time, money and convenience.
What a wonderful cake I had yesterday made by baker Pritha, fresh and beautiful design. The ingredients are high end.. you can taste the good quality nuts used in the cake. The design looked absolutely stunning... I am ordering soon ..
